We had our original camp site which was booked a year in advance cancelled last minute for labour weekend due to council pest spraying. After years of planning our family camp, we were desperate to seek urgent accommodation for our large family (100+). I phoned the Clarkβs beach holiday park the week of labour weekend and the owners were Amazing! They heard our cries, they catered to our last minute request and had done their best to cater to all our needs and they delivered - truely angels! Thank you so much for your kind hospitality β€οΈ

Stayed over Anzac weekend. Cute holiday park not too far from the hustle and bustle of Auckland. Facilities were clean and serviced regularly. Tent sites were lush with grass which were quite spacious. Showers were hot and pressure was amazing. All in all the place can do with a slight upgrade and a lick of fresh paint, but CB is affordable with great rates. We really appreciated the staff coming around to our tents warning us of impending bad weather that was due to hit in the early hours of the morning. They gave us options to keep us safe, which we really appreciated.

Only a 1 night stay for us but we were unable to find anything closer to Auckland airport where we could park our camper for the night to clean out and prepare for the next day drop off. Really no other choice just be prepared for an older site and facilities. But you will get a hot shower. A toilet. A dump site. Power. Running water. Green grass to lay on after a big day and drink a bottle of wine. There is a pool didn't get near it. Didn't leave the park to find nearby food sources as we just lived off our remaining stocks. It is what it is. The staff were friendly enough. Sorry I can't give anymore stars that's all I can offer due to the rest of the places we stayed were a different level at similar price tags within 15 dollars a night difference. The place is fine....

After booking a cabin I was emailed and asked if we could move to another one so a large school group could stay closer together. We didnt mind switching as they had emphasized that we would have a small kitchen and bathroom attached. Anyway the cabin with annex attached we had been moved to (No.10) was gross. It should've been retired years ago as no regular maintenance has been done. The front step was broken, the carpet was disgusting, there was mold on most curtains and blinds, paint flaking from the ceiling, broken seals and leak patches under most windows, the oven was dirty, the veneers were peeling from the doors and pelmets, there was messy plastering on the bedroom ceiling and stains on the walls. We couldnt tell if the bottom sheets they supplied were actually fresh or not since they had dog fur on them. The only reason we didn't leave immediately was because we were gone from 8-6pm each day so didn't have the flexibility to arrange other accommodation. On checkout the lady at the desk seemed genuinely surprised at our experience. I can only imagine that perhaps she hadn't been in that particular caravan in some time, much less viewed it from the perspective of a guest. Many of the other rooms/cabins seemed tidy by comparison but this was so bad we wont be back. Yuck.

A few narrow spots for motorhomes around the playground. You can hear the airplanes but at some time you will not notice it anymore. A lot of rules but weβll maintained. Washrooms are rather military style.

A great park to stay at with easy access to the beach, and plenty of amenities. It's not far from Auckland and is very easy to get to. The campsites are very generously sized, our caravan is larger than the average and we had no trouble parking there. The owners are investing in the park and you can see where progress is being made. Recommended to stay and we will come back.

Very clean from other holiday parks we have been to. Kids loved the pool (probably needs some love) but either way loved it. We were happy to get a adjoining room which was awesome when wanting to hang out together as a bigger group. BBQ we used was awesome and big so good cooked fast and the area a good set up. Smokers area awesome and enough space for all the smokers in our group. Bit of a walk to the toilets from our room but we get it. No sky was a bummer but hey your not there to watch tv right. TV and games room needs some updating the ping pong table and bats definitely need to be replaced. You have to play pool 2bux a game which we didnβt want to pay but I get it because pool tables are expensive to replace. But maybe you guys could look at changing it making it free but keep the balls and cues with the office and if anyone wants to play you can put it on their room and if any damages or missing things you could charge them(might be better idk) Appreciate the service and facilities and definitely will return on our next family get together.

Very clean spacious campsite. We stayed for one night in a camper van before having to hand it back, it was perfect had all the facilities we needed, we managed to wash and dry out clothes too. (Extra fee) Great hot showers and toilet blocks. A good campsite for kids - swimming pool and playground area. Good access to the beach! Would stay again, thanks!
