“We came here around 9 years ago and remembering how good it was we brought some friends and it did not disappoint. Our waitress Olive was fabulous, attentive and knowledgeable. The food was all divine. The staff are welcoming and friendly and celebrate you eating all you can. It's easy to get to from the city by catching a ferry as it takes you almost right to the door. This is an experience restaurant that is worth every dollar.”

“Fantastic as always. Definitely a top shelf venue that is consistently good. We shared a few entrees which were all delicious. I had a wagyu steak which good to my liking. Dessert was a real mix of flavours but very nice also. Definitely add this to your list and go if you haven’t been already.”

“I've visited this restaurant a couple of times and always meant to write a review but their delicious food just slipped my mind. I had the pleasure of dining there again tonight with my wife and I must say the place consistently meets high standards. The service was excellent and the seating was both nice and comfortable. My children absolutely love the sushi too. Plus, the prices are reasonable, there's plenty of parking and the atmosphere is wonderfully clean. It’s a great spot to enjoy a meal.”

“Had a great lunch at Lone Star Manukau for my little sister’s birthday on Sunday! The food was delicious and well prepared, and Sophia’s service( this is the name I saw on my receipt, I hope its her) was absolutely fantastic, friendly, attentive, and made our visit even better. “We attended a private function here. It is a lovely beachside setting with a variety of indoor and outdoor seating options. The atmosphere is airy, with a nautical themed decor. The reason I would come back is for the food. I had chicken with creme brulee for dessert, and my husband had the steak followed by a cheese plate. I rarely order chichen out but was tempted by the description and not disappointed it was tender, and the flavour was incredible. I would return based on this dish alone. Service was great, efficient and friendly but not intrusive.”

“Great service when entered & while eating Food didn't take long to come out Taste of food was beautiful very flavoursom with generous size to share ✴️The butchers block that was huge size able to feed up to 8 ppl although could of done with a side of garden salad & the colsaw as the colsaw was to rich on its own & it was runny needing to be in a bowl but yes different salad to break the meat would of been nice, yes all the meat tasty & tender yes worth a block ppl ✴️The blacksmith cheeseburger was OK needed more mayo or burger sauce was a bit dry biting into it , was expecting cheesy flavor couldn't finding in the bite. ✴️Surf n Turf was on par with cooking steak medium rare prawns & muscles done right ✅️ just needed a bit more salad & sauce. ✴️ Ceasars salad✅️ beautiful meaty & tasty It Complemented the butcher block had shared it around so worth. ✴️ mash potatoe was very tasty & smooth shared between 3ppl was beautiful ✅️ ✴️ Garlic pizza bread was tasty ✅️ but would of just got a normal Garlic bread. ✴️ Jug of coke & raspberry costly & when got to taste had no fizz it tasted flat had advised the waitress she had bought out a new jug . When sitting and talking towards end of the meal felt rushed with waitresses coming in interrupted conversations by asking to take thing off the table & the supervisors other waiters lingering around the bar area to where they could advise waitresses of emptying tables to get ppl out sooner they got in . It was like that when eating we were seated not far and could see they were lingering around it was uncomfortable. If they could spread out or hang back in backhouse it wouldn't feel weird. Other than that would definitely go back & highly recommend but find seating further from bar area.”

“We went to Okumnandi for a birthday dinner. We sat outside. The speaker that was outside was playing music way too loud so we asked to have it turned down, but for some reason it got louder again which made talking difficult, even with the person directly across from ourselves. The food didn't take long to arrive and it was delicious and had lots of flavour. As most South African cuisine, it was mostly meat based and quite spicy, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. The service was great, we had a kind woman serving us who was really helpful and helped point out what we should order and in what order. The food was fairly expensive but it came in huge portions which were meant for sharing. All in all, the food and service was amazing and perfectly shows off the unique South African cuisine that the chefs should be proud of. I would definitely come here again :)”

“Had an amazing birthday dinner here. Both cocktails I had (Strawberry Kiss & Pink Gin Spritz) were so delicious. Cheesy Garlic Pizza Bread was so yummy, and my sirloin main with truffle parmesan fries, peas, & gravy was one of the best meals I’ve had out in a while. Staff were very friendly too, & food & drinks all came out quickly (was a Monday night though!). Will definitely come back.”

“The place is just a replica of BBQ nation outlet in India. First they serve you all the BBQ dishes (Unlimited) like Chicken, fish, prawn, pineapple and Kumara. They also serve fried fish and potato with sause. You can then go ahead and enjoy the buffet food which has Indian and continental dish (just one). Overall the experience was very amazing and great service. The food was delicious and restaurant beautiful ambient set up gives a very relaxed atmosphere while enjoy the soft music in background. But expensive but worth a try. Good for family and big groups. Try for Groupon voucher to get a good deal and save some bucks.”

My partner enjoyed the vegetarian pasta, and my dad and mum both loved their dishes: the eye fillet melted in his mouth, and the crumbed chicken was delicious too. Service was excellent also. “Japanese cuisine is always my favourite. It’s the first time I have dined at Daikoku at Botany Town Centre on 16/11/2023. The Japanese manager who greeted me at the entrance of the restaurant was very friendly and hospitable. As I can speak some Japanese, we could have a lovely chat. The Japanese Chef was also very professional and attentive. There were only three of us on the same table so there was not much noise. Food was delicious and I would like to take my husband there some time later. I highly recommend you to come there and enjoy their lunch special if you happen to get near Botany Town Centre.”
