“Really nice bar. I can’t comment on the night life but for a Sunday lunch it’s chill and comfortable. I was lucky enough to get a spot beside the fire to read my book. The Caesar salad is top notch and the staff seemed very friendly.”

“Had a great lunch at Lone Star Manukau for my little sister’s birthday on Sunday! The food was delicious and well prepared, and Sophia’s service( this is the name I saw on my receipt, I hope its her) was absolutely fantastic, friendly, attentive, and made our visit even better. “This is one amazing place for a good meal and some really well made cocktails. We ordered for a meat pizza and 2 cocktails. It was really well made. The waitress also helped us in selecting what to eat. Clean bathrooms.”

“We came here around 9 years ago and remembering how good it was we brought some friends and it did not disappoint. Our waitress Olive was fabulous, attentive and knowledgeable. The food was all divine. The staff are welcoming and friendly and celebrate you eating all you can. It's easy to get to from the city by catching a ferry as it takes you almost right to the door. This is an experience restaurant that is worth every dollar.”

“Fantastic as always. Definitely a top shelf venue that is consistently good. We shared a few entrees which were all delicious. I had a wagyu steak which good to my liking. Dessert was a real mix of flavours but very nice also. Definitely add this to your list and go if you haven’t been already.”

“I've visited this restaurant a couple of times and always meant to write a review but their delicious food just slipped my mind. I had the pleasure of dining there again tonight with my wife and I must say the place consistently meets high standards. The service was excellent and the seating was both nice and comfortable. My children absolutely love the sushi too. Plus, the prices are reasonable, there's plenty of parking and the atmosphere is wonderfully clean. It’s a great spot to enjoy a meal.”

“We went to Okumnandi for a birthday dinner. We sat outside. The speaker that was outside was playing music way too loud so we asked to have it turned down, but for some reason it got louder again which made talking difficult, even with the person directly across from ourselves. The food didn't take long to arrive and it was delicious and had lots of flavour. As most South African cuisine, it was mostly meat based and quite spicy, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. The service was great, we had a kind woman serving us who was really helpful and helped point out what we should order and in what order. The food was fairly expensive but it came in huge portions which were meant for sharing. All in all, the food and service was amazing and perfectly shows off the unique South African cuisine that the chefs should be proud of. I would definitely come here again :)”

Cheesy Garlic Pizza Bread was so yummy, and my sirloin main with truffle parmesan fries, peas, & gravy was one of the best meals I’ve had out in a while. Staff were very friendly too, & food & drinks all came out quickly (was a Monday night though!). Will definitely come back.”

“OMG, I haven't been here in years but I pre ordered the 2 person special, chicken fried rice, wontons and sweet & sour pork. It was the tastiest Chinese takeaway we've ever had. There was no grease or fat. There is enough food for tomorrow night as well. I will be back!!!”

“The place is just a replica of BBQ nation outlet in India. First they serve you all the BBQ dishes (Unlimited) like Chicken, fish, prawn, pineapple and Kumara. They also serve fried fish and potato with sause. You can then go ahead and enjoy the buffet food which has Indian and continental dish (just one). Overall the experience was very amazing and great service. The food was delicious and restaurant beautiful ambient set up gives a very relaxed atmosphere while enjoy the soft music in background. But expensive but worth a try. Good for family and big groups. Try for Groupon voucher to get a good deal and save some bucks.”

“This place has position, a great bar and restaurant with a locals / marina vibe. Clean and new, the menu has something for everyone. The mussels were incredible. Service is quick and attentive. Being a DB tied place, the usual selection of beer from there is on. Good wine list. If I was a local, this would be my local. It’s even got a sports screen pod which I guess is a good distraction for those that don’t want to converse. I love the bar stools at the bar too - an opportunity for this place to create a real locals vibe. Great stuff! Go here..”

“This is a fantastic spot! I love the decor and the food. I ordered the rump steak, which was delicious. My partner enjoyed the vegetarian pasta, and my dad and mum both loved their dishes: the eye fillet melted in his mouth, and the crumbed chicken was delicious too. Service was excellent also.
