“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (If I could, I’d give 20 stars!) We came here for dinner and it was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The wine was excellent, but what really stood out was the incredible service. I wish I remembered the name of the gentleman who looked after us: he was outstanding. He explained the menu with such honesty, knowledge, and enthusiasm, and it was clear he had a deep understanding of both the dishes and the restaurant itself. We were unsure what to order because everything looked so good and we couldnt decide as we wanted to try everything. he guided us perfectly, giving thoughtful recommendations and going above and beyond to make sure we chose what suited us best. Even though the restaurant was full, he was attentive, quick, and genuinely warm smiling the whole time and clearly enjoying what he does. It’s rare to find service like that these days. The food was just as impressive. We had a meat dish (piatto con carne) that was one of the best mains I’ve ever had in Auckland, cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The linguine pasta was also delicious. But the star for me was the olive ascolane: even better than the ones I’ve had in Italy. For dessert, the cannoli was outstanding, the perfect sweet ending to an unforgettable meal. Even when it came time to pay, the staff were friendly, accommodating, and made us feel welcome right up until the very end. We truly enjoyed every moment of our experience here and will definitely be back. Highly, highly recommended!”

“What a beautiful location! We had high tea - the food, all made in house, was divine. The hot scones, made freshly for us, were light and fluffy and served with delicious jam and fresh cream. The tea was lovely, with bottomless refills of the tea pot. And there is something peaceful about looking over the garden, watching ducks and chickens foraging whilst sparrows gather for crumbs. The service was also wonderful, friendly but professional. I would thoroughly recommend a visit! N.B. There is other food apart from a high tea, and it looked wonderful!”

“We had such an amazing time on the fire truck! The team were able to secure us a booking with short notice, and were flexible with what we wanted. They communicated with us well and everything went off without a hitch! The experience on the bus was fantastic, drinks are well priced and yum. The sound system is fab and we were blasting our tunes the entire time. Such an awesome way to make an event special, or add some extra flair getting from A to B. We were so well looked after and our entire group were blown away with the quality of service and how easy everything was. Would highly reccomend! The price is totally worth it for all the fun you get!”

“Come on Auckland! You guys need to come and support this great business! The beers are off the chart and the food is fantastic! I love a hazy IPA, each one was unique and delicious! There are over 30 different beers to choose from! The food was really good. I highly recommend the crispy butchers bites, the deep fried gherkins, the Korean cauliflower and the ChurBurger! That ChurBurger was……chur!! Bloody delicious!!! Not a big fan of shoestring fries (I like the proper chunky fries) but overall, fantastic beer and food…I highly recommend!”

We started with the lemon pepper calamari, which was perfectly tender and seasoned to perfection. The truffle fries were indulgent and had just the right amount of truffle aroma, making them impossible to resist. The wagyu beef sliders were a highlight – juicy, flavorful, and served with a delightful balance of textures. The mains were equally impressive. The wagyu brisket was melt-in-your-mouth tender and packed with bold, rich flavors. The lamb cutlets were cooked to perfection, beautifully tender with a touch of smokiness. The goat cheese croquettes were a creamy, crispy delight that added a perfect complement to the meal. To top it all off, the pomegranate sour was a fantastic choice – expertly mixed, refreshing, and a great pairing for the food. Every dish was presented beautifully, and the flavors were nothing short of incredible. The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere of the bar was cozy and inviting. “Urbanaut Brewery and Tap Room, a fantastic experience! As someone who appreciates good vegetarian/vegan options, was impressed with their offerings. It's not always easy to find a place that caters so well to plant- based diets. It's true that the food isn't fast food, so don't expect the a quick bite. The dishes are clearly made with care, and the flavors are amazing. The space itself is open and inviting, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, which really added to the positive vibe. And of course, for the beer lovers, this place is a must-visit. They have a great selection of brews, making it the perfect spot to try something new with some amazing food. I highly recommend Urbanaut!”

“What a delight it was to eat at Morrell! The food was some of the best I’ve had in Auckland since moving here 3 years ago. Service was great and of course booking through First Table was seemless. Only thing I’d say that could’ve been better was the option to split the bill as there were 4 of us. But aside, top class experience! Thank you Morell team.”

Large serve. Good garlic and cheese bread pizza. Leafy salad with olives and feta good too! Cheap drink 3pm - 6pm 8$ wines and beers Enjoyed the Seaview from a table near the front of the restaurant. Only downside was the tables are very close - so the conversation of you and your neighbours are not private…”

“First German restaurant for me and I have to say: I will come back. Me and my partmer had the plate A and even if it looks big, if you’re hungry don’t worry you’ll eat everything. Loved the sauce and the smashed potatoes, reminds me of my grandma’s one. I like the fact that you have tomatoes, coleslaw and other salads on free service. We also had the tab german beer and nothing to add you know just a tab beer. But the owner is really kind and gave us a good experience. Boyfriend here, I’ve been to Berlin and the taste is familiar. I vouch for this only german restaurant in West Auckland. Traditional I love it”
