   Went last Friday night after work for a few drinks rather than the usual. Cocktail list was great and made well. Wine selection doesn’t come from a list, it comes from a chat with Joe. Very happy with his selection for me. We were a little hungry so Joe just “whipped up” a tasting platter which hit the spot perfectly. Then the music…..great acoustic guitarist playing favourite after favourite. What a great night. Thanks Joe and team. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great night.

   My favorite cafe in Takapuna. Cute ambience, lovely staffs and good food & coffee. Joe always welcomes us warmly at the front and makes us feel like home. My boyfriend loves the paratha so much he has it every single time. Highly recommend this little gem, you won’t be disappointed:))

   Wonderful atmosphere with staff that seemed to really care. Best coffee art I’ve seen for a while and fast service for the quality of food gotten. Really feels like a local cafe with regulars who come back for all the right reasons. Me and a friend were looking for breakfast while staying in the city and this was absolutely the right choice for us!

   5 of us went here for early Mother's Day lunch. The booking was easy to make and they do suggest, as they are a small cafe to make your food and drink order as you make your booking. The menu is small but flexible. You can make up your own platter and pasta is made to order. The food was excellent! The service was beyond expectation. Well done Joe's Eatery, we'll be back!

   I love Joes Eatery. It is my go to place in Takapuna. What makes it so special is Joe himself and his warm, friendly, welcoming disposition. The coffee is fantastic and the food. It’s a great place to come in the mornings as well as in the afternoons, because Joe serves a wide range of alcohol Wine, beers and spirits. The music is great too.

   I work on Hurstmere Road and Joe’s Eatery is my go to for my coffee fix in the morning! He is such a lovely man and even delivers food or coffee to our office when we’re busy! My partner and I came in one morning and most of the staff were off sick so Joe was on his own but he wasn’t stressed or too busy to chat with us, he was his normal welcoming self! Such a great establishment - highly recommended popping in to this stunning eatery in the heart of Takapuna!

Relaxed and cosy atmosphere and attentive staff. A visit to Joe's Eatery is a must if you are ever around Takapuna. You won't regret it, detail and service is key, and Joe executes this superbly. Joe and his team will ensure that you won't just have great coffee and food but a memorable experience also.
