“So grateful to Tessa for her awesomely kind customer service. I was disappointed by the quality of a ring we had purchased and was in the mindset that "I'd never shop there again", but Tessa totally turned me around. She listened, had great empathy and was so incredibly helpful. Going above and beyond to help me with choosing a replacement. She is an absolute star and I'd encourage anyone who is shopping for a special piece of jewellery to come to this store (And ask for Tessa).”

Options were available for swim levels to drift downstream. Our guide, George, was amazing and persistent with the three children in our raft without being harsh. Video is purchased separately for your experiences. The changing area is large and clean.”

“My simple words will not do any justice to this place. This is beyond imagination and best place to feel the nature of its vibe along with the sound of birds. If you love walking this is the place to be with your loved one but ensure you reach before 5pm. Since the place is just near the museum there is an open ground where we can park your car van free and roam tense free.”

    Atkinson Park

“A great start to walking. Medium fitness required. Some steps and roughly a 20min walk. Around 2km. Lots of native birds, watch out for the falling seeds. Wood pigeon and Tui’s dog friendly. Suitable for a family. Kids under 5 should be closely supervised as there are some steep drops and no rails. Beautiful on a sunny morning. Make sure you clean your shoes on the way in and coming out.”

    Kell Park

    ★★★★☆ 4.5
    Open

“Love this little spot for a picnic on a hot day! Kell Park has everything you need and more: plenty of shade, public toilets, ample parking and pushchair/wheelchair accessible pathways. Dogs are allowed off leash year round (although mind the free range chickens!) Albany library is just alongside so perfect to grab a book and read in the shade. There is a small playground (suitable for younger children) in the main park - or follow the pathway in either direction for a short bush walk to the big slide and flying fox (flying fox was out of order when we visited Jan 2024). For older children there isn’t a lot to do here - though the flying fox if working would be a good draw. We visit this park fairly frequently and it is never busy.”
