Booked and paid almost 12 months in advance, turn up and our apartment type is not available, now staying across two ‘two bedroom’ apartments b it does not work as can’t leave kids in one etc - what a joke. Offered compensation of about 10% of what this cost or I could cancel, great arrived from os and now have to find another place to stay or put up with having a family holiday with half of my family in one apartment and half in the other. Geez thanks guys . Avoid at all costs.

Swiss-BelSuites is about a 15-minute walk from the town center, which makes it conveniently close while still feeling calm and quiet. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Parking is available onsite for $10 a day, which was handy. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience. A solid, comfortable stay with great service and an easy walk to town.

Definitely some pros and cons to be aware of.. I'll start with the biggest! 1 con NO PARKING! They have a car Parking building on site, but it's now been privately rented! 1 carpark floor, you get in late your not able to park! 2nd Con breakfast is terrible, it's basic and basically NOBODY wants to eat here.. 3rd, you can smell animals on the couch, actually you can smell the rug too. Pros, room is huge Pet friendly Nice kitchen set up Huge walk in wardrobe Quiet rooms

Spacious, Centrally Located Suites with Excellent Staff – A Pleasant Stay. We stayed at Swiss-Belsuites Auckland in the Swiss Super Suite (2-bedroom), and overall it was a very good experience. The rooms were spacious, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the bathrooms were very clean. The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to explore Auckland, with cafes, restaurants, and key attractions nearby. The atmosphere of the property was welcoming and relaxed, which added to the comfort of our stay. One drawback was the heating setup — there was only one fixed heater in the living room, and no heaters in the bedrooms. However, upon request, the staff quickly provided two portable heaters, which helped. We also noticed a stain on one of the bedsheets, which could be improved. A big highlight of the stay was the exceptional front desk staff — each and every one of them was warm, helpful, and professional, which really stood out. Overall, a comfortable and centrally located stay with great service. Would definitely recommend.

This hotel is like my worst nightmare come true!!! DO NOT stay here. It is worse than a SLUM The hallway is dinghy and smells of mould, the rooms and the apartment in itself are full of dust with carpets that have stains all over. The bathroom had no soap, I checked in at 11:30 pm today and have since been on call with expedia trying to get me out of this hotel. The rooms are freezing cold, it is 2:30 am as I wrote this and I am unable to sleep because of how cold the rooms are. The only place where they have heating is the living area. See attached pictures and do yourself a favour by NOT staying here. I am so frustrated. This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at in my life!

DO NOT STAY HERE! We prepaid for two nights hoping we’d have nice smooth experience here but didn’t even get to stay one night. We arrived at 9:50pm local time and the front door was locked and no one was at the reception desk. After knocking for 5 minutes a guest let us win. We looked around for five minutes trying to find someone but no employee was around. The note at the front desk said to call a phone number for after hours help. We called the number but it called the phone we were using! I left several messages with my phone number to call but no response. We tried to get their notice with their security cameras but again no one called or came to the desk. We left the hotel after 25-30 minutes and I left them a note explaining our situation and asking for 100% refund. We went and stayed somewhere else that had staff on site. It’s now two days later and still no phone call and now I’m sure they’ll say they couldn’t contact me. We will never stay at this brand again - horrible experience!

Had a great time with the family. Room was fabulous, they upgraded me which was fantastic. I can see the SkyTower from my room. The staff were kind and friendly. Special thanks to Abby for taking care of us.

stayed for 11 nights, great room but location not the best. In a map, its about 10 mins to the CBD area (Queen St), but its uphill, so it makes it feel like its longer. Also worth noting that my rate included breakfast, but it was very very basic.

We were looking forward to staying here and expected a clean room with a cool view and apartment amenities. We were given room 601 which was the worst smelling room I’ve ever had while traveling and especially in New Zealand. I have no idea if someone smoked and chemicals were used to cover it, or it was fumigated or the carpets and surfaces had something sprayed on it but it was so strong and revolting. Left the balcony door open all night and it didn’t help air out the place. The kitchen sink smelled like rotten fish. The 6th floor wasn’t very high so mostly you will see people on the street and hear traffic. These units are so high volume and worn. It’s like what a nice apartment used to be without thousands of people staying in them. We tried to have things addressed but cleaners only sprayed some lemon scented cleaner in the sink and bathroom. It did not get rid of the strong smell. They know it smelled bad and lied and said it was normal. I don’t think every room stank like that it was so bizarre. The people at the front desk were often chatting in the back and only 1 guest can be helped at a time. We weren’t able to wait forever while others were being assisted and had to get some food before places closed. It was our last stay in NZ for our honeymoon and we tried to spend only sleeping time in the room because of the smell. My throat hurt so badly the next day and I was coughing a lot in the morning. I just felt like the staff did not take concerns seriously. This place is meant to make money and not have things fixed or improved. The shower drain was pretty gross and the grate was broken over it and sharp too. This place could be nice if it had proper upkeep and care.
