Warm and welcoming as soon as we entered. Our servers, Ernie and Katherine were attentive, friendly and fast. They were just blarrdy fantastic to be honest. Everything we ordered was delicious. My fav was the Crudo and the Gazpacho. All the sauces and dips were out of this world....Thanks team for going the extra mile and doing a impromptu HB song and chocolates for Paige... Have a fab Xmas and a safe NY Highly Reccommend

We went here for high tea, it’s an unorthodox high tea experience. I think it’s the first time I didn’t have scones at a high tea. I think it’s more suited for a hang out rather than a luxurious high tea. You get to pick one drink, any refills will be a seperate cost. The heirloom tomatoes were the best part of the experience. If you’re here to celebrate a special day with high tea I think it would be better at Cordis or Cookes restaurant, at this restaurant they don’t ask about special days or dietary requirements. We did say in the booking it was our anniversary and they didn’t care, other high tea places will make it more special. If you’re into alcohol, they offer bottomless for an extra $20 charge. The savouries were very good, the sweets were overly sweet. The donuts were amazing. The buffalo cheese cake was not made fresh, it was frozen and the white chocolate coating tasted like freezer. The service was good, and they served dessert by making the tiramisu on the spot.

The service, particularly from a Mexican waitress, was excellent—she was very helpful, attentive, and provided superb drink recommendations. The restaurant itself was beautiful and cozy. While the drinks and appetizers were good, the main course was unfortunately excessively salty. When we raised this concern while paying the bill, we were told the dish was currently being 'trialed.' A dish should be perfected before it's put on the menu and sold to paying customers. What started as a promising evening ended up being deeply disappointing.

Dinned in a few times over my stay this week and everything was great! Perfect steak, crispiest potato’s, a fun spin on the classic devilled eggs, pork chop (excuse my mess) and even the room service Club sandwich was enormous! Washed down with a great wine list and good pick me up coffee in the morning.

Have heard a lot of good things about Esther however my personal experience there was a tiny disappointing. The starters were pretty good, especially the meatballs and the pizetta but the rest were quite average. The main dish and salad (unsure why) was overly salted for my liking. Service was neither good nor bad, just felt that it was slightly difficult to get the staff attention when needed. I reckon it might be due to the layout of the restaurant. Overall it wasn’t too bad, ok food with an ok service in an ok environment.

We had the restaurant month menu. The first course of puff pastry with baked saganaki and taramsalata was delicious and we were so excited for the rest of the menu! Little did we know it was all downhill from there… green devils was literally a boiled egg with some mayo. The spaghetti was the most disgusting pasta I’ve ever had - probably would have been nicer without the tablespoon of herbs dumped on top. The table next to us also barely touched their mains but was too polite and told their waiter they were “too full”. Another friend who went on a different evening had the same experience. Very disappointed after reading so many good reviews.

A beautifully designed restaurant with incredibly tasty food. Excellent service and unique presentation of dishes. However, the portions are small, and the prices are high.

Esther’s $65 Restaurant Month deal is so worth it, come give it a go and you won’t regret it! Special highlights were the puff pastry and sticky date pudding. They are the appetiser and dessert, and they’re sooo well done and leave you wanting more. For $65 you get a lot with 8 plates served over 3 courses! We were served by Sharleen who was so warm and attentive, I really enjoyed her service and she was so welcoming and sweet to us.

Beautiful place with delicious food and drinks. The service was outstanding and the waitress we had was well versed in the menu and had great knowledge of pairing food and drinks to the customers, unfortunately didn’t get her name. Highly recommend the puff bread and cheese with honey & chilli (can’t remember it’s actual name!). They even did a cute little celebration treat for our anniversary!

Went to Esther with a couple of friends for dinner. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Restaurant decor was great. Food - we ordered 2 pasta dishes and porchetta. The pasta are good, but the sauces were very salty. The porchetta was great. Dessert was amazing!
