“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an amazing experience at Montrose Cafe, Bistro, and Bar! The coffee was delightful, and the server, Bruce, was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere and ambience were perfect, creating a cozy and inviting environment. The selection of food and drinks was impressive, catering to various tastes. Highly recommend this place for a great dining experience!”

“Popped in for dinner after the Allblacks game and were rewarded with exceptional service and a wonderful meal. I love to slow cook so I ordered the beef cheek , WOW… I was not disappointed it was beautifully cooked and the flavours were wonderful. There is a big screen here which has me thinking I may book dinner for the next game. Looking forward to returning and sampling some more things on the menu. Highly recommend!”

“Cute small japanese restaurant. The restaurant is clean and has a comfortable athmosphere. The staff is very nice and helpful. They seem to like working there and do a lot for the positive vibe. What I've ordered so far: Takoyaki - new favourite dish at Coo's, I just had it today and it was so creamy and delicious! Gyoza - absolutely amazing, especially with some soy sauce. Can 100% recommend this as a starter or to have with a drink. Katsu don (Pork) - was amazing, it could do with some extra tonkatsu sauce for the rice but was still very (!) good. Ikageso - delish little calamaries. Nothing more, nothing less. Karaage don - the karaage was nice and juicy. I am not yet sure how it compares to the chicken katsu don but can recommend. Eel don - beautifully presented and I loved it, but I like eel in general, so if you are not big on fish, I would not recommend this. Umeshu - nicely presented and tasty, reminded me of some dried plums I've had back in europe”

“This is a good cafe if you are in the area. The staffs are nice. The coffee and fries are my favorite here. It is relaxed, kid friendly. Has space to seat both inside and outside. Happy to recommend them.”

“My wife and I celebrated our 25th (Silver) Wedding Anniversary with a meal here. The food, service, and atmosphere were great. The view out over the Waitākere Ranges was beautiful, despite the overcast evening. It was unfortunate that we were unable to have our preferred and reserved outdoor seating, due to the verandah being inaccessible for wheelchairs.”

“This was our first time visiting this pizza place after seeing some good reviews. We ordered the Chicken Slingy Pizza and the Spicy Lamb Pizza. I can definitely confirm this is one of the best pizza places on this side of Auckland. I've tried all the pizza shops in the area and this is definitely the best with regards to taste, quality and value for money. They also provide great customer service with friendly staff who were always smiling. We will definitely be going back there. Thank you, It's Pizza Time!”

“Had a Christmas dinner with work mates last night and it was fabulous. The kai was great, starting with a generous entree and pizza plus generous mains and desserts. We had takeaway containers as we couldn’t finish everything. And the service was excellent, the whole team pitched in - it was a busy night. The restaurant was jam packed but that didn’t seem to phase the waiting team at all. Congratulations on a very busy but wonderful environment, service and kai!”

“If I could give more than 5 stars I would! A few years ago I was pregnant,tired and incredibly hungry and all the restaurants were actually closing their doors, including vino. My poor husband ran up just as you were closing the doors and asked if you had anything spare he could buy for me quickly. Without hesitation you actually turned your ovens back on,chatted to my husband about life,and made me a double portion of pasta FREE of charge and said it was a gift for us and our first baby. I genuinely cried at how generous you were to a total stranger. Don’t know if you remember this at all,but it’s always stuck with us! Highly recommend to anyone and everyone.”

“We had brunch on Waitangi Day (Thursday) and absolutely loved it. For the first time, I had a smoothie that was actually better than the ones I make at home—so thank you for that! We went back on Saturday, but this time, the smoothie had noticeably more spinach, which caused it to oxidize quicker. I don’t have a picture, so you’ll have to take my word for it—it was much darker in color and less sweet. That said, the breakfast quality was just as great as the first time.”

“We had a birthday dinner for my mum and the food and drinks were amazing. I had the passionfruit mocktail which was out of this world! Tried a variety of dishes and enjoyed all of them. The pork was succulent, the octopus was soft and delicious. Fish burger and truffle fries with Parmesan to die for. This is a beautiful restaurant atmosphere with excellent food and drink options and would highly recommend”

“Very welcoming and friendly customer service. It wasn’t too busy when we arrived. Our food came out quick, it was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our food. My favourite was the kumara wedges I really enjoyed that as well as my chicken apricot burger. The lovely waitress who served us from the moment we walked in was super sweet and lovely! I had an issue with my drink and she took it away and fixed it right away still smiling. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating available, it’s a lovely setup. Next time we’ll try the ribs as it looked so good when the waiter walked past with them to the other table.”

Greeted by friendly staff and taken straight to our table on a busy Saturday (we had booked and would probably recommend as was very busy) Companion had the kumara burger and it was delicious. I had the platter "for 2" which was phenomenal decent portion of each item and all were delicious. We then had desserts and they were very tasty. All the staff were very nice too. “I went to Caffe E Cucina for a tinder date (which went pretty well, I think she likes me!) for lunch, and had a great time. We ordered different kinda small plates from the prima section of the menu and shared those which worked well as we weren't super hungry. The service was good, and prices not toooo bad. The food was definitely the highlight (after the company) with everything cooked to perfection. Seared tuna blew my mind.”
