   My partner and I have come here on different occasions. We've always enjoyed our orders (eg. nasi lemak, roti telur, murtabak, teh ais, teh tarik, seafood laksa), and service has been very friendly and polite. We highly recommend Uncle Man's Karangahape Road. Just tonight, I accidentally left behind my bag after having paid and left the restaurant. An abang (brother) ran halfway down Karangahape Road to catch up with me and pass me my bag! Terimah kasih! Some of the friendliest staff! Malaysia boleh!

   Had a roti chanai. Pitiful little amount of Dahl. Absolutely ridiculous. Roti was fine but. Serve people this for dinner n expect to feed them? Will never be back!

   This place came out in my search for Malaysian food around town. The pictures and the variety of food look pretty decent so I decided to check them out. I came here for lunch and got the mee goreng with kopi tarik. The food and drink came out pretty quickly. You can choose the spicy level of the mee goreng and I chose "spicy"; it came out exactly the way I hoped! The portion is good for one hungry (but not starving) person. It tasted good, reminded me of char kway teow but in noodle form. It came with lots of bean sprouts, chicken, 2 slices of fish cakes and 2 prawns. The kopi tarik is also decent. Taste-wise, I was a little surprised. It wasn't exactly the taste of kopi tarik that I'm used to, but it's not a bad taste. Overall a good place to get your Malaysian fix.

   Tucked away in a corner, this restaurant is worth discovering. I particularly fell in love with their dessert, as I have a sweet tooth. Roti Bom and Roti Tissue.

   maybe my expectations were too high... The chicken satay and maggi gorreng were OK, but nothing wow. The teh tark and roti canai were probably on par with what i could DIY via packets (think Aik Cheong or Katoomba). When you consider the price, it leads me to leave a 2*, as i'm unlikely to return.

   Legendary Malaysian restaurant in Auckland for a reason. Delicious, you crave it whenever you think about it. Dishes are executed so well. A favourite of my Malaysian partner's family.
