“Surprisingly beautiful Italian restaurant tucked away in the gardens. Authentic Italian cuisine and such amazing wait staff, very attentive and friendly, always makes a huge difference when dining out. The food was beautiful, and decent servings that please a big appetite.”

“Every time I go to Auckland, I make sure to visit Windross House. I’m always greeted with a smile and the service is fantastic. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. My favourites dishes are the classic mango chicken and garlic Prawns for entree. It’s a must visit when in Auckland!!”

“Good authentic Spanish food. We enjoyed the rich flavours in the Squid dish - main sized. Really good - recommended! The paella was rich and delicious, full of seafood and great flavours. Large serve. Good garlic and cheese bread pizza. Leafy salad with olives and feta good too! Cheap drink 3pm - 6pm 8$ wines and beers Enjoyed the Seaview from a table near the front of the restaurant. Only downside was the tables are very close - so the conversation of you and your neighbours are not private…”

“Incredible food and such wonderful service from the time we entered the restaurant until the time we left. I would highly recommend a cocktail from Emma who makes the perfect traditional Pina Colada - it was truly outstanding. Thank you to all the staff for making our experience amazing! “My daughter and I had a wonderful lunch, little miss 5.5 was not only all smiles but very well looked after including sneaky chocolate delivery from the lovely Emilie who expertly serviced our needs. Attentive, friendly and anticipating our every need, this girl needs a bar tab from the owners or at the very least a juicy slab of meat loaded with truffle butter!! A true pleasure of an experience with delightful food, service and even better views!”

“A true hidden gem! I'll be honest, at first we thought it would be a small takeaway place but were pleasantly surprised. The space is quaint and intimate. The staff were lovely and everything tasted INCREDIBLE! The Moneybags were the best we've ever had. The picky pork was also delicious and the portion sizes were great especially for the price. 10/10 will be back again.”

“What an amazing gem with excellent service and amazing food. The food was authentic and fresh and very well prepared and presented. There is street parking and even thought the restaurant is compact it can cater for heaps. You don’t need to book and can just walk in. Take away is also available but Its nice to sit down and soak in the vibe.”

“Everything about our visit was genuinely impressive. The service was some of the best I’ve experienced in a long time - attentive without being overbearing, and the staff made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was also a standout. It had a great vibe, plenty of space, and a comfortable layout with good distance between tables, which is something we really value when choosing where to dine. The only downside for me was the braised pork. It was a bit on the chewy side and didn’t fall apart the way I’ve had it at other places, so it didn’t quite meet the standard of the rest of the meal. Other than that small issue, everything else was excellent. The overall experience was great, and I’ll definitely be returning.”

“This is one of the finest restaurants in Auckland city. I seldom write reviews about restaurants. My brother was a chef and you have to be pretty good to impress me. It is a popular Middle-Eastern and South-West Asian restaurant with authentic and traditional dishes. It is the "chef that makes the restaurant", not the other way round. The dishes were outstanding! I have just come back from Melbourne city and they blow away the competition over there. They win hands down, nobody comes even close to them. I had Tabouleh which comes from modern-day Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Palestine, and Israel. It is a staple in Lebanese cuisine and has been a part of Middle Eastern culinary traditions for centuries. Greek salad, snapper and lamb. Every dish was fantastic!”

“A great little find off the main road on Parnell. It was very quiet which was nice for us as a family of 5. Had really generous sized meals packed with lots of flavour. The drinks were nice and cold I enjoyed the passion fruit mojito. Our children loved their meals just a bit large for them. The lunch specials were delicious and very lovely service from the hosts. Reasonable pricing for quality meals.”

“Fabulous food at Chinwags Restaurant & Bar in Clarks Beach, New Zealand. Absolutely delicious and the customer service was above and beyond. They were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Clarks Beach locals, you need to get behind these guys and support them or you will miss out on an amazing dining experience! If we lived here, (but we live in Geraldton WA) we'd eat there all the time! Thank you both for such wonderful service, food and the laughs.”

“We had such a beautiful meal here for two, restaurant is very authentic and service was great. The vegetarian lasagna was amazing and best I have had in Auckland also my husband had the meat lovers pizza which was very good! We finished off with the baklava for dessert which was lovely. I would definitely recommend.”

“The food was just spectacular. Every bite was another indulgent flavor to experience. I personally enjoyed the Lemon Leek Risotto, it was tangy and perfectly cheesy. The service was so nice and friendly. I sure felt welcome to have the delicious food. The setting is very cute if you enjoy two spaces coming together nicely. If not such a fan of the bar there is a more divided section of tables not visible to the bar. Both settings were very enjoyable. The walk into the restaraunt was very cute and gave me a good feeling, and the feeling was right! Enjoy your food and place at the same time. I really recommend it!”

“We had the most fantastic experience at Mudbrick - I highly recommend visiting! Brooke did our tasting, she was so friendly and knowledgeable and made us feel very comfortable. The wine was absolutely delicious (we went for the “Waiheke Tasting” and we loved all four of the wines). We sat outside, the views were incredible across the island and Auckland in the background. The waiting staff were friendly and the food was absolutely delicious and so aesthetically pleasing. The foccacia was the best I’ve ever tasted!”

“I've had two great meals here with friends over the last year (which is also how often I've been to Auckland over the last year lol), the Mussels are delicious! This time they had a new dessert on the menu, a Banoffee Pie, and it was stand out good!! 100% will order again if I'm back in Auckland. The staff are fantastic, really attentive and good at what they do, they make you feel like family. And they are so careful with dietary restrictions, we have a few coeliacs in our group and with everything on the menu being available as gluten free, they really enjoyed themselves, and the staff double check about the dietary restrictions to ensure no issues.”

“Travelling New Zealand visited this quaint little french bakery. Ordered a croissant and a coffee. It was buttery, flaky with a soft interior and amazing coffee rich and aromatic. Sitting by the window made the experience all the more special. A must visit if you like baked goods and croissants.”

“Wow !! What a wonderful surprise today when we randomly selected Vino Vino for lunch on our day trip to Waiheke. Our random choice was due to the incredible views. From the start to the end the service, meal and attention was first class. We have been fortunate enough to eat at some incredible restaurants throughout the World and would have to rate this establishment right up there. “Enjoyed a breakfast here on a Monday morning in an outdoor seating overlooking Oneroa township. Monday is a relatively quiet day on Waiheke without the weekend xrowds. The menu for breakfast and brunch was reasonably comprehensive and well priced. The restaurant was busy and frequented by locals which was a good sign”

“Great atmosphere. Food is really delicious. The only reason for 4 stars is that the steak was a little bit over cooked, but luckily still pink. The stuffed chicken was fantastic, the peppercorn sauce the star of the show! Friendly staff and prompt service. Great restaurant with good variety. Today, I couldn't fault anything. And the 2 girls that served us were SO amazing!! It felt like home! Thank you so much!”
