“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I visited Centro Cafe in Takapuna yesterday and absolutely loved the experience! The ambience and atmosphere are so warm and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to relax. The food was beautifully presented in such a creative way, and it tasted just as good as it looked. The coffee was outstanding — easily one of the best I’ve had, thanks to the talented barista. A special mention to Sandun De Silva, the owner, for creating such a wonderful place. You can really feel the passion and care that goes into every detail here. Definitely a five-star worthy café — highly recommend to anyone visiting Takapuna!”

“If I could give more than 5 stars I would! A few years ago I was pregnant,tired and incredibly hungry and all the restaurants were actually closing their doors, including vino. My poor husband ran up just as you were closing the doors and asked if you had anything spare he could buy for me quickly. Without hesitation you actually turned your ovens back on,chatted to my husband about life,and made me a double portion of pasta FREE of charge and said it was a gift for us and our first baby. I genuinely cried at how generous you were to a total stranger. Don’t know if you remember this at all,but it’s always stuck with us! Highly recommend to anyone and everyone.”

“I'm giving Portofino 5 stars all around as we absolutely loved the food, service, and atmosphere during our holiday in New Zealand. It was so good that we visited them again before we left...twice in one week for dinner! I definitely recommend dining at Portofino. All of the food we ordered were great from the Lasagna Al Forno, Fettuccine Di Pollon, Vegetarian Fettuccine Vegetarian, Cannelloni Casanostra. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They even offered and opened the window and had fresh air while enjoying our meals. We forgot to take pictures of our food the first time we dined in...that's how great it was! “LOVE this place!! Food is always so freshly made and great flavours. Definitely takes me back to Thailand! If you’re a fan of fresh seafood, then you need to try the raw prawn salad. Love their curry puffs and money bags, super crunchy and comes with a really good sauce. Their sizzling plate is also amazing with some coconut rice. Service here is always so friendly, totally recommend!”

Priced a bit higher than street food/takeaway joints, it’s to be enjoyed seated dining inside the cosy traditional thai decor… Reminds me of how Thai restaurants used to feel… nowadays trendy canteen vibe is more common! Service is always casual & warm family style.”

“We had breakfast there . The breakfast menu was good. The food we ordered was really tasty. The atmosphere is of really cozy street cafe where you can spend time and have food. A bit like Europe. The service was real fast and very polite. Overall A nice experience.”

“Recently visited Ebisu with a group of friends to experience their Oki No Saturday Buffet. The selection was truly generous- fresh sashimi, sushi rolls, shrimp, udon and miso soup as well as hot dishes like salmon, braised beef brisket. And many delicious desserts. I have to say the sashimi was beautifully arranged and fresh. The service was friendly and attentive throughout. Our group wholeheartedly enjoyed the Oki No Saturday Buffet. I will recommend it without hesitation to anyone if you are looking for a relaxed Japanese buffet in Auckland.”

“We had brunch on Waitangi Day (Thursday) and absolutely loved it. For the first time, I had a smoothie that was actually better than the ones I make at home—so thank you for that! We went back on Saturday, but this time, the smoothie had noticeably more spinach, which caused it to oxidize quicker. I don’t have a picture, so you’ll have to take my word for it—it was much darker in color and less sweet. That said, the breakfast quality was just as great as the first time.”

“I love this place!!! It may be on a main road but the atmosphere inside the courtyard walls is beautiful…. a feel of Italy. We were greeted warmly and found a lovely seat in the sun where we thoroughly enjoyed the coffee and delicious food brought to us. I ordered the beef burger without buns and my son had the fish salad… both were spot on! I can’t wait to come back on an evening and enjoy the courtyard, with the festoon lights and a glass of wine with another Del meal!”

“We had amazing dinner here we did the à la carte menu. The sashimi was fantastic possibly one of the best in Auckland. If not New Zealand. The steak was amazing. “Ok i firstly need to admit, I'm not easy to please these days, as i find many places just lack in quality service and overall taste and flavour. I'm happy to report this place is really nice. Wonderful friendly service and excellent quality food. We had the twice braised beef, lamb ribs, pan seared beans, chips, money bags and beef dumplings. All dishes were just as they should be. The lamb didn't look that nice but the first bite changed all that with a lovely flame grilled flavor. We'll definitely be back for more.”
