I have had the food here twice prior to this review both times I thought I was served reasonably good butter chicken I also ordered 2 cheese naans. The food was good and close to being the best I have had.
Went there yesterday for dinner and the first impression was really good. The place felt very welcoming and the food was yummy. Definitely a great spot to enjoy a nice meal.
We’ve been coming to this restaurant with our family for over 23 years, and it has never disappointed. The food is always delicious, consistent, and full of flavour, and the service is warm every single time.
Very disappointing experience. We were your regular customers as we loved your lunch specials. I was there with my 3 colleagues for lunch last week Thursday. We didn’t wanted to get late so we did order via phone 4 different curries for dine in as we thought it will be lunch specials. But at the end they charged us full price for everything. When we checked with the guy at the reception he said you didn’t say that you wanted lunch special. Please train your staff when they take order over the phone. He was not the same guy, who always used to be at the reception. The portion size of food was small, looked lunch special only as compared to full size portion. Food was average, not fresh. But still we all paid full price for all the curries and also for naan. Very bad experience.
Barely any meat in the biryani. It was just rice cooked with meat pieces that were over cooked. The curry was absolutely sweet even when we asked for a medium. Will not order again. It’s funny how the restaurant responds to an honest review. We are not here to argue, just need to let others know about what we experienced.
Great food, friendly team, had special dietary requirements when I ordered online and they called to confirm how it would be and check it was okay, even making extra accommodations when I collected my order
Used to love this place. Excitedly ordered tonight through uber eats. However, the beef vindaloo was disgusting. Very salty. Couldn't eat it. So disappointed. Waste of $100.
One of the better Indian takeout restaurants we’ve been to in NZ. The vegan, fish, chicken and beef options are all really really good. Definitely recommend.
Ordered the butter chicken mild was flavoursome and great. However service was ok and marked 3 stars down as atmosphere was to hot and the fact that I had a missing spoon.
