   I don’t often come to Howick and the movie finished late and we wandered through in here. A small restaurant very friendly and welcoming staff and the welcoming smell of garlic my dinner companion had a pepperoni pizza which he really enjoyed. I had the spaghetti bolognaise plenty of bolognaise and very Italian by serving a bowl of Parmesan cheese on the side. Enjoyed my meal and cost is moderate. Recommend.

   Amazing experience tonight which to give context to , I visited La Padella for the first time when they were still at Highland Park and I had an awful experience on that occasion and never went back. (Over 10 years ago) Fast forward to this evening and it was divine. Excellent service. Great food (I requested off menu & BOY did they deliver) and attentive service. Now I feel like I’ve been missing out all these years. Thank you La Padella for an amazing meal. I will be back repeatedly

   We celebrated Valentine's Day here. The place was fully booked. The service was nice. The food was so delicious and served quickly. The wine price was reasonable, so there is no need to BYO. We enjoyed the night. They gave us a box of roses chocolate for completed our special night. Thanks for this sweet thing.

   Atmosphere was rustic which to me bodes well for the food and it did not disappoint. We ordered way too much but being the troopers that we are, we managed to get through it all. Will definitely be back.

   Very average food. Not traditional Italian. The cannelloni ($25) seemed like it was microwaved, filling was tasteless. Pasta dishes ($25) are ok. Steak ($33) seemed to be the best option, although the vegetables with it were a bit weird. Garlic and pizza bread was good. Apparently their pizzas are good, but I didn’t try.
