   We had our work team Christmas celebration here last night. It was a beautiful place to dine. The food was amazing, tasty and filling.My favorite was the Massamam curry and the chicken fried rice! April, the owner was lovely, friendly and such a great host. We saw lots of other people dining and people picking up takeaway orders. A busy, bustling but efficiently run Restaurant. Highly recommend this place for authentic Thai cuisine.

   We had dinner here before a concert in Auckland city, easy quick access to the inner city, meals arrived promptly. Amazing Thai food and the service was really good. Would definitely go back, highly recommended, thanks for a great meal.

   Lovely experience at what seems like a family run Thai restaurant. Very friendly team. Greeted instantly and despite being busy, we felt well attended to. The food was delicious. Felt like a homemade meal. Asked for spicy level of heat and it was just right. Tried the curry puffs, chicken red curry and garlic pepper chicken. We loved all the dishes! Definitely a local gem!

   Very friendly staff that make sure you're comfortable and well fed+watered. My partner has a seafood allergy to certain things and they go out of their way to adapt to your food choices. Keen to go back and try the rest of the menu. Edit: 2024, new place and STILL excellent food served with very friendly and personal service.

   BEST PAD THAI IN THE CITY! Joy Bong had recently moved to a more intimate location and some how the food is even better! Not only is it the best husband and wife combo in the city who have owned and operated this legendary business for 10+ years they will always make you feel like family.    Stopped by for dinner on a Friday night and didn't have make a booking to get a table. There were a few parties going on so it was a bit loud. We were seated and were promptly given menus and water. After a while going through the menu we were asked if we wanted drinks and if we were ready to order. We had ordered cocktails and food since they sounded really good. Although busy they didn't make us feel rushed throughout the evening. One of the most interesting thing on the menu was a shot of tom yum prawn. Although the other items were more traditional they were also really good. The curry didn't have as much flavour as I was expecting but the tamarind chicken was just amazing. Another thing of note is the glass panel on the floor which shows their wine cellar, located just in front of the reception area. I was also quite surprised at how large the whole restaurant was, as it goes back down to the bar and the toilets. We had ordered 2 entrees and three mains for four people as well as drinks, which came to around $40pp. Be aware that there is a minimum spend per person. Efficient and friendly service along with nice Asian inspired cocktails and delicious Thai food makes this place a nice restaurant to go to.
