“Highly recommended!! Hired this hall for a first birthday in the weekend and it was such a beautiful venue. Easy to hire, communication was quick and very efficient. Very easy to find if you are using the google maps. We hired the main hall and small meeting room next to the kitchen and the kitchen we also added the Full stage and AV package. We were given a video with instructions on how to use the Full AV and it was very informative and very easy to follow. For someone who don’t know anything about AVs, we had no problem at all and everything worked out well. Very happy!! Photos below…”

“Barbara Jenner's review above has confused two venues. She is criticising the large Torbay Community Hall which is owned by the TCA - Torbay Community Association. Torbay Theatre, an amateur theatre group, owns the small Gate Theatre which is attached to the Hall. I hope this clarifies things?”

Absolutely love everything about the McCallion-Hester dance academy, having danced since i was very little, Irish dancing was one huge thing i missed when moving overseas,I recently moved from Australia to New Zealand where i lived for many years and never really found an adult Irish dance classes that had the expertise and professionalism that these guys have here in Auckland!! The standard is incredible and the opportunities are endless, from beginners through to advanced and everything in-between they have it all covered! I would highly recommend giving it ago, whether it be for fun, fitness, to meet new people or as a previous dancer wanting to get back into it, this is definitely the place to go!!! “This is a nice community center where I used to enroll my kids to learn Arabic every Sunday. The play area next to the center is amazing as well. There is a bus stop by the entrance of the center which makes it very easy for people to commute to the center.”
