Nestled in the heart of Oneroa on beautiful Waiheke Island, Artworks Theatre serves as a vibrant hub for local creativity and live entertainment. This beloved community venue brings residents and visitors together through a diverse range of performing arts. The theatre hosts an array of events, including live comedy shows, stand-up gigs, theatrical plays, and intimate musical performances. It features a fully equipped stage, professional sound and lighting systems, and a licensed bar serving a great selection of local wines and beers.

“It’s a small community Hall. The hall is perfect for kids parties, adult parties, weddings, fitness classes, church groups, social groups, sports groups, corporate functions, staff training, business planning, rehearsals, small community groups and lots more. Maximum of 50 people. Very affordable and easy. Theres a kitchen and table and chairs. The hall is a great space for the community to use.”

“My 9-year-old daughter thoroughly enjoyed the Drawing & Sketching class (Tue 3:45-5:15) with Maree. Learning to depict objects with pencil sketching added a technical dimension to her artistic skills. It was a great class for a 9-year-old who loves drawing, providing more advanced content rather than simplistic children's drawings. This class is highly recommended for kids who love drawing and want to boost their skills.”

“A lot of work has gone into these tiny fairy houses, craftsmanship by the fairies is first rate! My 4yo loved them and waited for fairies to turn up. "They're asleep now, they only come out at night Sweetheart!" :)”

“This place is awesome! Took four teenagers to a Sunday Battlestrike session for the first time. Dion was amazing, kitting the boys out and running the games. Having the new rental guns were cool. The participants, many of them with serious kit, were super friendly and accommodating, helping the teens on and off the playing fields. Highly recommend, will be back.”
