When I lost my previous fur baby due to genetic disorders, the incredible Vet - Jesse, Steph- the caring nurse and the wonderful reception staff gave him a dignified ending, gave me endless compassion and took care of him until I picked him up the following week. I took my new baby in today, and received the same love and affection as every previous visit. “Dr. Fred is not only a responsible GP but also a kind elder who encourages a healthy lifestyle. Every time I visit him, I learn something new about maintaining good health. He often says he hopes not to see me, as his wish is for all his patients to stay healthy. To help me take better care of my body, he explains the causes of illness and uses images to vividly illustrate the principles behind them. I’m truly grateful to have him as my GP. I also feel sorry for always bringing no less than two issues to each visit, taking up more of his time, but he always patiently explains everything to me. Every check up, the vet has been so gentle with my cat, as well as thoroughly informative & considerate of my budget. “Recently returned to the District, from Torbay. My little mate dog Finnegan became very unwell. Vet Centre Ruakaka was fully booked but arranged for a consult at Waipu. Vet Pip was awesome, as is, the whole experience. A quiet weekend and with me administering prescribed meds in conjunction with prime beef mince, Finnegan improved markedly. “Got there for a tonsillectomy for the son, everything was incredibly smooth, considerate and organised since the first call, throught to filling forms, receiving instructions from the admission and anesthetist to getting to the hospital. On the day, we received the best treat ever, the entire process was easy and guided, doctor was skilled and experienced, we were discharged after 4 hours with the kid drinking and eating close to normally, on top of that, they called me on the next day to check in....overall, was phenomenal, should be a role model for the other medical services providers in New Zealand.”
