   Got there for a tonsillectomy for the son, everything was incredibly smooth, considerate and organised since the first call, throught to filling forms, receiving instructions from the admission and anesthetist to getting to the hospital. On the day, we received the best treat ever, the entire process was easy and guided, doctor was skilled and experienced, we were discharged after 4 hours with the kid drinking and eating close to normally, on top of that, they called me on the next day to check in....overall, was phenomenal, should be a role model for the other medical services providers in New Zealand.

   I had my surgery done at this hospital and couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. The entire team was incredibly professional and caring. The hospital environment was clean and comfortable, everything I needed to feel at ease. I only have positive things to say. Highly recommend.

   was referred here in regards to chronic dizziness that I had been experiencing for 4 months at the time. I presented with very loud and disturbing tinnitus, stinging in my ears, feelings of being unbalanced and persistent dizziness. Dr Sillars was dismissive, he told me I was just anxious, that it was all just my depression and told me I needed to go to breathing works which I had already done. He also tried putting words in my mouth and TELLING me how I was experiencing my dizziness and basically refused to listen to what I was saying. He also said maybe I just needed to exercise and run around outside even after telling him I couldn't do any of that because of the dizziness? He refused to believe it had anything to do with my ears and yet I visited a vestibular clinic and they were almost certain it was, I started on therapy that targeted my ears and it aleviated a majority of my symptoms. So a big thanks for absolutely nothing. My entire life had been put on hold and he made me feel like I was at a complete dead end. I don't necessarily care that he wasn't able to diagnose me it was the way he went about treating me and belittling my experience by chalking it up to me being 'anxious and depressed'.
