   I had booked my appointment online and mistakenly set the date for October instead of this month. I fully acknowledge that this was my own error. However, upon arriving at the clinic today, I was extremely disappointed by the unprofessional behavior of the reception staff. Despite there being several staff members at the front desk, I was met with dismissive looks, as though my presence was unwelcome or confusing. One receptionist, in particular, was sitting in an unprofessional manner and looked me up and down as if to express disbelief or judgment about my mistake. This reaction was very upsetting, especially given that I was already embarrassed by my own error. The reason I chose this clinic, despite the distance from my home, was because of the positive experience I previously had with sonographer Nethanel Murania, who is exceptionally kind, thorough, and professional. Unfortunately, the conduct of the reception staff during today’s visit has overshadowed that experience, leaving me with the strong impression that I do not wish to return. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously, as professionalism and empathy at the reception desk are critical to patient experience.

   After having a terrible experience elsewhere, I've returned to write a review about LUX Radiology. Have been here twice for ultrasounds and both sonographers have been absolutely amazing. Thank you for making my experience so nice for my first pregnancy. Easy parking and great reception!

   I had a wonderful experience today during my ultrasound appointment. The sonographer, Nethanel, was amazing—very patient, professional, and caring throughout the process. She explained everything clearly and made me feel comfortable. I really appreciated her attention to detail and kindness. As a lovely bonus, she even gave me a photo of my baby, which made the experience extra special. Highly recommend!

   We are pregnant with our second baby and this time round we were looking for somewhere that we felt cared for, having not experienced that anywhere last pregnancy. I had high hopes and was blown away by the care and time shown by Nethanel! She was so lovely and made the experience so beautiful and informative! Images were incredible too!

   Have had several pregnancy ultrasounds with Ginny at Lux Radiology and she is absolutely amazing! So attentive, extremely patient and just makes you feel so comfortable (even my partner!) she engages with both of us equally and really takes her time. Highly recommend!

   We had our anatomy scan at the Ponsonby clinic after having two bad experiences with previous scans booked with other providers and it was a lovely and memorable experience. Nikki was so pleasant with her dealings with us prior to the scan and made us feel comfortable. I was nervous but Ginny who did the sonography put me at ease with her friendly nature and explained what she was seeing/doing as she went along. Our baby was wiggly but Ginny was so patient. After almost 50 minutes of trying she asked us to go have a coffee and come back so she could try again which is not something other scanning places do. When it still did not work, we booked a follow up appointment but they were booked out for a few weeks. Ginny decided to come in early to work on one of the days just so we could find out what we were having and complete the measurements. We were touched by her kindness and will be booking rest of the scans here for sure. Highly recommend this clinic and we do not mind traveling from South Auckland just so we have the peace of mind that baby is growing well and everything checked and explained not rushed like most ultrasound clinics.

   Best place to have a scan! I loved the sonographer she was super inviting and energetic you can tell she really enjoys her job. She helped with my gender and was just amazing! I loved it here so much! Wish other ultrasound places had more workers like her :-)

   I’ve had all my maternity ultrasounds done by Ginny and I have never been disappointed. She really does an outstanding job. The receptionist is extremely welcoming and she has exceptional customer service. I would highly recommend Lux Radiology in Ponsonby without hesitation, they are amazing.

   Very lovely experience here! Both the receptionist and sonographer Ginny were kind and accommodating. Ginny is very informative and talks with you the whole scan so you know what’s happening with your baby. Would come here for all my scans if we lived closer!
