Despite some initial miscommunication (from us), the team went above and beyond to accommodate us. Food and service was excellent, venue is stunning. “We recently went to Goodie Brothers in Botany and had such a great time that it deserves a proper shout-out. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and lively, with a nice mix of modern décor and a relaxed, casual vibe that makes you want to stay a while. We started with the margarita pizza, which came out with a beautiful golden crust that had the perfect crunch on the outside and a soft, chewy bite inside. The tomato sauce tasted fresh and vibrant, and the mozzarella was melted evenly across the base with just the right balance of cheese and herbs so it wasn’t too heavy but still full of flavor. The fettuccine pasta followed and was just as impressive, with perfectly cooked al dente noodles coated in a creamy, well-seasoned sauce that felt indulgent without being overly rich, and the portion size was generous enough to share or enjoy on its own as a main. For dessert, we couldn’t resist the tiramisu, which ended up being one of the highlights of the night — light, airy layers of sponge soaked with just enough coffee, topped with creamy mascarpone and a dusting of cocoa that tied everything together beautifully. Alongside all this, we had a few drinks that were made well and complemented the food nicely, and throughout the evening the staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely seemed to care that everyone was enjoying themselves. It’s clear the team takes pride in both their food and service, which really makes a difference. Goodie Brothers feels like the kind of place where you can go for a casual catch-up with friends, a relaxed date night, or even just to treat yourself to a good meal, and leave satisfied every time. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a spot in Botany with great food, good drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere.”

“We had such a great brunch here last weekend. The coffee was excellent—rich, smooth, and easily one of the best I’ve had in the city. Their oat-milk hot chocolate was amazing too, and the Super Avocado was definitely a standout. I also loved the café’s aesthetic, especially the fresh flowers on the tables. “The best dog-friendly cafe in Mt Eden. Great coffee, outside on the historic verandah if dining in, or delivered to the carpark by the friendly service team, along with mobile eftpos so you don't have to tie up your dog to go inside. There are free little dog biscuits on the verandah too. The staff could not be friendlier. Thank you to the Altar team.”

If you're unfortunate enough to start at the nearby Novotel, ignore their wretched restaurant and take a 15 minute walk to Green Lane Gastro Pub. Well worth it. My meal was lovely and every other plate I saw going out looked great.”

“High streets best kept secret! Visit on a sunny day for a beautiful outdoor escape or a rainy one for a cozy coffee (the heaters / cover work wonders). Coffee and service is always 10/10, and the Bacon Benedict is always hits the spot. Love that they also support local businesses as well. Definitely visit if you’re looking for a cheap and cheerful brunch spot in the CBD.”

“Had my daughter’s 3rd Birthday here and it was honestly so incredible. Ryan and his team communicated everything so well, from the party room, to the decorations to what kind of food we wanted. The actual playground is clean and tidy and the viewing space for adults is big! You don’t feel crowded at all. We have gone to other indoor playgrounds before and the space is so cramped and uncomfortable! They have such a huge range of party decorations and themes and add on options for the parties it really is a one stop shop!! Will definitely be recommending this to all my Mummy friends and will be back to celebrate more of my kids birthdays! Thank you Ryan and Team!”
