    The best dog-friendly cafe in Mt Eden. Great coffee, outside on the historic verandah if dining in, or delivered to the carpark by the friendly service team, along with mobile eftpos so you don't have to tie up your dog to go inside. There are free little dog biscuits on the verandah too. The staff could not be friendlier. Thank you to the Altar team.

    Yum as. Nice coffee, delicious cake. NI e atmosphere. Not cheap. $10.50 for a slice of cheesecake, but it was a good-sized piece, and the best I've tasted for a long time.

    BEST CAFE EXPERIENCE! My husband and I popped into this cute cafe by chance and we had the most amazing lunch. Beautiful natural flavors. Great frappe. Great coffee. Excellent service (table order). Good value for money (main lunch meals between $15-$25). Definitely recommend if you are travelling through or a local to make this your new spot.

    Beautiful chill environment with good coffee and food. Highly recommend Hazelnut Mocha and Seafood Risotto, and both are super delicious! Lamb shank's a bit dry but potato rosti is crispy and yum. Chocolate Moussecake is soft but of not much taste. Food is of small portion and pricy, but good service though.

    Business meeting. Food is expensive and my meeting business partner struggled to be understood that he wanted a big breakfast but vege instead of meat choice s. Hilariously he ended up with scrambled eggs on toast with extra hash browns. I stuck to the classic bene. We had cake. Coffee was divine.

    Really friendly service, staffs fast and very helpful. Nice environment with unique decorations. Recommend the seafood risotto and pork belly. Blueberry white tea taste really refreshing too.
