   Thanks to the legends at Morningside Tavern. Me and two other mates held a shared birthday event with apx 55 people and it couldn't have gone better. Despite some initial miscommunication (from us), the team went above and beyond to accommodate us. Food and service was excellent, venue is stunning. I highly recommend this venue to anyone wanting to host a function. (very reasonable minimum spend also). Thanks team!

   We got a table for the Metallica pre party and wow the food was amazing, drinks came out super quick considering the lines of people. The QR code to scan to order drinks is the best thing ever. Definitely would come back again.

   Amazing place, 10/10! Came here last night for beers with friends and loved the vibes — big screen showing rugby, great atmosphere, and solid beer selection. We came back in the morning looking for a lost bag of merch and sunglasses, and the awesome staff had kept everything safe for us. It had gifts for friends and family back in the US, so we were so grateful! We stayed for lunch and I’m so glad we did — the lamb roast was incredible (some of the best I’ve ever had) and the Yorkshire pudding was out of this world. My girlfriend’s salad was super fresh and tasty too. Huge shoutout to Tommy, who went above and beyond — from helping us recover our stuff to making great menu recommendations and being incredibly welcoming. Next time we’re in New Zealand, this spot will be at the top of our list!

   First off: Parking can be problematic if there's a rugby game. I'm here Saturday night at 6 pm with a group of 25. I scouted the menu prior to attending - I was looking forward to lamb shank. However, the event menu was on which is bar food - burger/chips style and on any other occasion is not an issue. Food was average, not great, just mhhhh. I had the beef burger and pork bites. Burger meat was dry (a lot of comments were made from our group about this being dry). The pork bites were seriously salty.. about 8/9 pieces and only had 3 and a bit - couldn't finish it. Great vibe, great music, and big screen TV to watch games. Would I come back? No. Would i recommend it to others? Probably if the location is what they're after.

   Perfect spot for the American Outlaws pre game festivities. Sure it was crowded but they have several outdoor areas to accommodate the crowd. A good selection of beers on tap. And even though it was crowded, service was fairly quick. Good thing we got there early.

   We actually made a little detour to this place after seeing the inside deco, very very nice boujee pub vibes. The Tavern Smash was soooooo good! And the Jackfruit Tacos tasted bangin too. I just think they added a tad bit too much oil in the tacos. Food did take 30 minutes to come out but all the food came out at once and drinks were served first. Prices were nice compared to the inflation nowadays. It's a nice hearty autumn Vibe, do come here and show some love.

   Warm, vibrant, family friendly bar. Recently had my hubbies 40th celebration and the staff were amazing. Claire and Julian were so accommodating and the food and drink were on point! Thank you for making our night a memorable occasion. A good variety to suit everyone. I recommend this place to all!!
