“Just want to thank Tim for doing an amazing job. He was so accomodating to our last minute request to come back for drinks in the covered outdoor area. Such a lovely atmosphere fairy lights, fires and tasteful surrounds. The small touches he made like water in stylish brown bottles and beautiful cheese platters and antipasto boards made for a great vibe. It would be a perfect place for a 40-50-60 th birthday . “I was passing by looking for a coffee and found this place. It’s really busy with all of the paraphernalia but gives the place its charm. They had 6 different flavours of red bush tea which I do love but $14 per 100g. Coffee was average but enjoyed a free tea while I waited.”

“Cute small japanese restaurant. The restaurant is clean and has a comfortable athmosphere. The staff is very nice and helpful. They seem to like working there and do a lot for the positive vibe. What I've ordered so far: Takoyaki - new favourite dish at Coo's, I just had it today and it was so creamy and delicious! Gyoza - absolutely amazing, especially with some soy sauce. Can 100% recommend this as a starter or to have with a drink. Katsu don (Pork) - was amazing, it could do with some extra tonkatsu sauce for the rice but was still very (!) good. Ikageso - delish little calamaries. Nothing more, nothing less. Karaage don - the karaage was nice and juicy. I am not yet sure how it compares to the chicken katsu don but can recommend. Eel don - beautifully presented and I loved it, but I like eel in general, so if you are not big on fish, I would not recommend this. Umeshu - nicely presented and tasty, reminded me of some dried plums I've had back in europe”

“We stopped by for muffins and coffee. The cinnamon muffins were huge and very tasty. The proprietor was helpful and made sure we got large muffins since we looked hungry. He’d made them himself that morning. The coffee was good and strong as well. We didn’t grab sandwiches for lunch, but they were on display in the case and looked delicious.”

“Wow, the "Steak Night" was fantastic. Normally my wife does not allow me to order steak, as 99 times out of 100, the chef does not know how to cook it, or it has not been aged, or the thickness is inconsistent I.e thick at one end and thin at the other. And I complain about it. However, I was pleasantly surprised as the friends I went with talked the restaurant up. We got there around 7 pm, and the place was buzzing, a really good atmosphere with locals obviously supporting this restaurant. The steak was spot on, asked for medium rare, and received a good sized portion of a very tender medium rare scotch fillet with mushroom sauce. Fries and a fresh garden salad finished of a simple but great meal. Yes, i took the time to go and thank the team in the kitchen for a great meal. My friends tell me Taco Night is also well worth going to, so I reckon my wife and I will have to make the journey North from Hamilton to do just that. 100% recommend this restaurant. Oh, one of our friends is celiac, and they were able to cater for her with GF fries and GF Salt and Pepper squid.”
