Unfortunately after spending $30 To Uber there at 10:30pm when there opening hours state they are open to midnight we were told they are closed. Bar tender very unapologetic to say the least and non helpful on to where to go to find somewhere open when asked . Very disappointing and a little shameful when visiting with a tourist in tow makes nz hospitality look like a second rate joke. I am sure they are a good place to drink at when open asked bartender to tell the owner to update opening hours on google so doesn’t happen to others but I wouldn’t bank on it so maybe ring before going after 10pm is my best advice to those looking for a drink. So yeah not impressed and quite frankly embarrassed for us kiwis.
Great little pub in Ellerslie. Laid back spot with a great beer garden and plenty of beer on tap. Shout out to all the staff especially, you make it great.
I didn't have any food, but the atmosphere was great and the barman was really cool.

Super lovely bar! There’s space out back to sit outside during the summer months. The staff are super friendly, I got to taste the cider before I got a pint and they even custom made me a poutine! Would definitely come back.
