““I can't say enough positive things about this store. The store offers a fantastic selection of products that cater to a variety of needs of babies. . This is my go-to store for all my shopping needs, and I highly recommend it to others because I found everything I was looking for at this store, and the prices were reasonable. Angela was incredibly friendly and approachable, readily available to answer my questions and provide assistance. She made me feel welcomed and valued as a customer”

“We LOVE the BBQ pork buns from here! They've got a good selection of ingredients and foods from a variety of Asian cultures, including Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Malaysian and Indonesian. Friendly staff and tidy (albeit a little cramped) store. Just watch out for the parking, it'll really test your cars maneuverability!”
“The interior is bright and clean. Items are well organised. Can get most Asian condiments here in this place. Just located next to Westcity mall. Only limited parkings available in front of the supermarket.”

“Emma was amazing! I tried looking everywhere for a limited edition ‘anti bullying’ tee shirt and couldn’t find one. I approached Emma who had initially said they had sold out. She offered to have another look just incase. She insisted although she didn’t have to. To my surprise she came back after a few minutes and handed me the tee which was perfect. It was the very last one. Emma was very efficient, patient and accommodating. Thank you Emma for going over and above. I appreciate your excellent service. Your boss and fellow staff should be very proud. Keep up the great work.”
“This shop is ideally located in the CBD and offers a wide variety of ready-to-eat options, including sushi, salads, and baked goods. The place is clean and well-maintained, making for a pleasant shopping experience. I particularly love their salads; they offer many fresh and flavorful options.”
“Good staff.. Saffron Foods in Henderson is an absolute gem! The store is always clean, well-organized, and packed with an amazing selection of Indian, Middle Eastern, and Sri Lankan groceries. From spices and lentils to frozen naan and specialty snacks, they have everything you need to stock a flavorful pantry.”
“Lotus Supermarket is one of those places that can immediately bring back a piece of India, when you step inside. It can be a one stop shop place for anyone looking for a good place to restock their pantry with Indian/Pakistani food products. The store has a variety of options, right from grains and pulses to snacks and sweets. They do have counters in the entrance offering fruits, vegetables and other products on discount. The frozen sections have a good selection of Dairy products, frozen savouries, sweet treats, batters and ready to eat foods. Frozen Indian fruits and vegetables are also available. The spice and grains section has almost all the spices and pulses we require for cooking Indian dishes. The meat section has good quality Halal Cut Meat ( the meat section is open until 6:30 Pm only). It is a pretty big store where you can almost get everything. Overall things are nominally priced and is a must visit for an Indian grocery haul.”

“Pak’nSave Māngere is a no-nonsense, budget-focused supermarket that does exactly what it promises — cheap groceries in bulk. The store itself isn’t the newest or flashiest, but it’s functional and serves the local community well. If you’re shopping on a tight budget or feeding a large family, it’s a reliable go-to. The inside has that typical warehouse feel — simple shelves, bright lights, wide aisles. It’s not fancy, but it’s spacious enough to get around even during busy periods. The layout can feel a bit chaotic at times, especially when there are big specials on, but once you get used to where things are, it’s manageable. Pricing is where Māngere really delivers. The weekly specials and everyday low prices make it one of the most affordable places to do a full shop. You can fill up your trolley without completely emptying your wallet. Produce is decent, with a mix of fresh and not-so-fresh depending on the day. The meat section offers good value, but it’s worth checking the dates and picking carefully. Bakery items are basic, but they do the job — plenty of white bread, buns, and rolls to choose from. Staff are usually helpful if you ask, though it’s more of a self-service environment overall. Don’t expect warm greetings or chit-chat, but they’ll help you out if you need something. Checkout lines can get long during peak hours, but they usually move at a steady pace. There are self-checkouts, but the layout around them can get a bit cramped when it’s busy. The carpark is fairly big, but not the easiest to navigate. It gets crowded quickly, especially on weekends, and the entry and exit points can be a bit of a squeeze. Still, if you’re patient, you’ll usually find a spot without too much trouble. One thing to keep in mind — the online listings don’t always match what’s actually in stock. If you’re planning a shop based on what’s shown on the website, be prepared for a few things to be missing or substituted. Overall, Pak’nSave Māngere is a workhorse kind of supermarket. It’s not about the experience, it’s about the savings. If you know what you’re after and just want to get in, get your groceries, and save money, it ticks all the boxes. Just don’t expect bells and whistles.”
“Exceptional Service! One staff member truly stood out during my visit last week — I believe his name is Willis. I first noticed him as I entered through the ramp entrance; he passed by with a friendly smile and picked up every bit of litter along the way. Throughout my shopping trip, which lasted over an hour, I kept seeing him actively working — always on the move, always attentive. His dedication and strong work ethic were so impressive that I asked another team member for his name and role. Later, I saw him again, clearing boxes and picking up items that had fallen from shelves. And then again as I was checking out he was their assisting customers. I took a moment to compliment him on his incredible effort and mentioned how I’d noticed he hadn’t stopped working since I arrived. He responded with a polite smile and genuine appreciation. Willis, keep up the fantastic work — it doesn’t go unnoticed!”
“My local. Went in on the 19th to buy a mattress, which was on special, ending the same day. Their computers were down and so they couldn't process the sale. I went back today, and they honored yesterday's sale price(which was a huge price difference to today's price). Was very impressed with their ethics and customer service.”
“Great place to buy fresh pork and Asian products. It's my go-to place for grocery shopping.”
