I had an amazing experience this afternoon. Amy the Beauty Advisor was soooo helpful in helping me test, give suggestions and advice during my shop. She kept the convo light and made the shop very enjoyable, 11/10 experience.
I’m a regular at this store and have never had issues with the staff until my visit on Thursday (27/11/25) @ 5:30pm. After buying two cosmetic items, I went upstairs with my friend to ask about a wallet I had on hold for pickup on Friday. The staff member (Older Women) told me the price hadn’t changed, but it was actually on sale. When I said I’d buy it on Friday as planned, she refused to keep it on hold and I got the feeling she was pressuring me to buy it because she wasn’t going to keep it on hold for my due pickup date. Her attitude was dismissive and unhelpful, I will be back to purchase it but not from her.
Staff on the first floor were very unhelpful. I had to ask around four people to get directions for a product. Three of them just vaguely gestured at the very large health and beauty section when I asked after a very specific hair accesory. I walked around the whole section like 3 times because the hair accessories aisle was so small and hard to find. Then I had to insist for the fourth person to tell me where the hair accessories shelf is. I don't understand why it's so hard to just properly direct someone when you know where everything is. And the shop wasn't even busy and there were so many staff.
Helpful staff. Fabulous service from British male in perfume department. Beautifully decorated Lovely to see a huge department store still open and with such variety ( and with available toilets!)
The ladies at the make up counters are awesome. Especially, Azra at Clinique- she is wonderful. Very helpful and booked me in for a facial which was absolutely lovely. I’ll be getting all my products from this store from now on.
Farmers are good for stuff on sale, otherwise they tend to be quite pricey. We rarely go here as we don't go to CBD very often
Had an excellent experience finding a new fragrance with the exceptional help from a lady in the beauty section named Joinne (Jo), she was so enthusiastic, polite and courteous and made me feel like a valued customer. She is a real credit to your store! Thank you again for your help Jo
I enjoy shopping at Farmers in Wellington, so I decided to stop by at the one here in Auckland, in the famous Queen Street. It has big collections for beauty products, which I love so much and usually there's special discount or special bundles, so worth a check! The staff is very friendly and helpful, the store is also easy to navigate
It was find until I met this woman. She seems to be their supervisor but made me feel uncomfortable to had looked around the perfumes. Hello, I your customer not a burglar. Decided not to spend my money for this store and just bought new perfume from other shop. Farmers staffs are become very rude and lazyness lately. Disappointed in their customer services.
