   Went in there the other day with my brother to buy Xmas gifts for our two niece's and was constantly asked if we were ok and what exactly we were looking for, which we weren't exactly sure because we were buying for children under 5. After saying we were fine for the second time, I was then asked if i would like to put the items in my hand at the front counter, which i refused because i wasn't 100% sure it was what i wanted yet, and the lady walked away shaking her head thinking i didn't see that. It was like we couldn't be trusted. Then when we went to the counter to go pay for our items security was waiting at the door, one inside the door and one right outside it. We then took our items to the car which was only two minutes away and when we came back past again to go get dinner, security had left. So I couldn't help but feel like security was called for us. We were polite from the moment we walked in, but the staff made me feel like i was being constantly watched and rushed, like she thought we were planning on stealing stuff. Which I did not appreciate at all and left feeling like we had done something wrong. I regret buying items from there and won't be going back to that Toy World again.

   I’ve been a loyal shopper in this store for years now I stop at least once a month to grab gifts for children’s birthdays as we attended a lot over the year and I always found this store to have great managers specials and better variety then inside the mall. Today I was shopping taking my time as I always do when they had a worker follow me around the shop not once, not twice but three times I’ve never felt so discriminated in my life. I literally was taking my time as I always do shopping the managers specials while they had a lady pretend to be busy following me around every part of the store I can’t believe it I’ve never stolen before in my life, I didn’t grab anything and hide it I’m so disappointed and saddened by the experience I had today in Toy World. Of coarse when I went to pay for my items they stopped following me. Not once did someone come and ask me if I needed a hand or anything they had 3 woman working the shop they did greet me kindly when I arrived but that was it they just followed me like I was some thief seriously so degrading. I won’t be coming back and I’m mostly sad for my daughter as she adores this toy shop and we often reward her with trips to this exact toy world but I’m not prepared to have the same experience twice. Do better Toy World Westgate.

   I recently purchased a toy car from Toy World, and I am beyond frustrated with the abysmal quality of their product. It's a disgrace! So called Manager at Toy World behaved unprofessionally, laughing and displaying rude behavior towards customers. Their lack of respect and customer service skills left me feeling disrespected and unappreciated. Avoid this store if you value being treated with basic courtesy and respect. It's absolutely maddening that Toy World's staff has the nerve to doubt where I bought a toy from when it's glaringly obvious to any customer! It's your job to keep track of your sales, not mine to hold onto every single receipt. And don't even get me started on their archaic computer system! You should have a record of every purchase for better product knowledge. Even if their prices match other stores, don't anticipate any level of decent customer service from these greedy individuals. They're only interested in lining their pockets and couldn't care less about customer satisfaction! Don't waste your hard-earned money on these subpar products. Toy World should be ashamed for selling such cheaply made items. I expected better, but all I got was frustration and a broken toy. Avoid this store like the plague – you'll thank yourself later. BIG NOOOOOOOOO for this store

   Have had this review up for a time now and thought it a good time to update it. Toyworld Northwest is a fantastic locally owned store with a team that are always happy to help. This store and team has gone from strength to strength over the years and only gets better. They have a huge selection of toys and games and are always willing to help. I would personally say they have one of the largest Lego sections with some amazing options. Best of all they always make every effort to pass on discounts where they can and even have some great specials on Lego for all the collectors (of which I am one). I honestly can't say it enough "Support Local". They are not only an integral part of the community but they really do bring joy on a daily basis to all the children and adults that buy and receive their toys. Great store, great choices and great people. What more can you ask for. Give them a visit.

   I’ve been after a full set of blind bag Lego muppets for a while now, all the other stores (you know the ones, that red shed place) had no stock, but these guys did, not only that, when I went to start finding what I wanted they asked if I wanted a full set!!! They had worked out what each blind bag was ahead of time. Amazing. I could not be happier. The entire store was clean, well organised and the biggest Lego selection ever. Dudes, you made my year. Thank you!!! If you need a toy, go here! Could not recommend it more.

   Worst experience we encountered ever! The staff are very rude and humiliating. From other reviews prices are unbelievably high, staff are always busy with some other work than attending customers. I enquired about price of few toys, paid and was leaving store then some thing unbelievable happened. Staff accused us of not paying and humiliated us in front of everyone. Upon showing stuff and asking why they stopped us there is no explanation. Whole experience was nothing but bitter and felt very humiliating with a kid. We are never going there and not recommending any one who expects self-respect to go there. Regarding owners response: I can see where is the issue starting from, it's the whole team... If there is so much going on and you are stressed, install cameras and tag scanners at entrance like how others do, rather than accusing people who paid you $$$. There are only two staff on Saturday and both are at counter when we paid. How can staff forget things in matter of minutes? Is it negligence? Do you still expect customers to return after worst treatment??? Your response is simply an attempt to cover up. Please see all recent reviews.

   Large store which is awesome and jam packed with a huge variety of toys, games and items for children and adults of all ages. Lots of free parking and friendly helpful staff. Centrally and conveniently located in the northwest mall.
