“A very friendly store! My iPad, which I’ve used for years, wouldn’t turn on. Technician Lilian tested it and found that several parts were faulty. She gave me the best solution — to buy a second-hand iPad. It’s much newer than my old one, costs less than the repair, and even comes with a warranty. I highly recommend buying second-hand devices here, as they’re in great condition and very reasonably price.”

The owner assigned a knowledgeable, experienced mechanic to take a test drive with me. After the drive, they assured me there was nothing wrong with the car—and they didn’t charge me anything! I'd been to two other mechanics previously for a service/investigation and they'd do the service, start investigating the issue I'd flagged and then just go, meh, looks like a sensor issue. Pit Stop were the first people to actually look past the surface and try to find the fault. They found it and repaired it in the space of a day for a reasonable price. Yeah my car is old enough to drink in the USA but that doesn't mean its issues are just age-related. Cheers pit stop! You'll be my go-to from now on!”

I went to their place late Friday afternoon urgently because of the alternator issue and told them that I would need to drive to Auckland Saturday. “Took the car in for a minor issue and a wof. Ended up spending a fair bit to get the car up to WOF standard including fixing the horn I hadn't used since the last WOF. Got the car back after they said it was all fixed. Checked everything when I got home and horn didn't work. Contacted the team and they bent over backwards to get the issues resolved, ensure we weren't put out, and got everything sorted the next day. Great experience, good team, if you bring your car here they will look after you.”
