A gem of a shop (sorry). Inside it's a very cool working workshop with an array of tools and vices etc. It creates a nice vibe of skilled, creative people crafting away. The range of original designs are the evidence of this. We had been looking around town and whenever the conversation came up about resizing a ring or changing a design it was always about them sending away to get it done, sometimes to China. At Patina you are talking to the Jeweler. It's very personal and creates a nice feeling of warmth to the pieces that you buy.
I have received 2 of Christine's rings for a significant Birthday. They are just EXQUISITE design/craftsmanship. They are super comfortable and I wear them everyday. People always comment on their beauty. I can see a customer design in my future! Fabulous service. Important for me to support NZ designers. THANKU
What I love the most about the two rings I purchased, is their purity. The 24 carat gold atop the pure silver, really pops. The rings are never dull and look like new. I was looking for something that was raw beauty, that was different and was local. Totally recommend you visit their workshop and try on some jewellery.

The best jewellery store in Wellington! Christine's pieces are beautiful and unique and the quality is amazing. I personally own the Wellington Pebble Ring, the Gold Signet Ring, the Gold Blob Earrings and Silver Link Earrings and I LOVE love love all of them :) Highly recommend. I think she does commissioned pieces and repairs as well.
