“excellent coffee and one of the few places who do ice-creams. I recommend a coffee and ginger slice. My boys love the sandwiches and hot chips.”
“The staff here are amazing, we were helped by Katherine. We are based in Auckland and were searching for an animal rocker to gift to family in wellington. These were not available online so we had to get in person. Knowing we were flying to wellington she held the rocker for a week and even sent us pictures of it via email to confirm it was the model we wanted. It was the only one left im the country. When we visited she still let us check we were happy to purchase and gave us a gift exchange reciept. Its the best customer service we had experienced over the phone and in person. Thanks”
“Great range of products. One of the few places that stocks the amazing Rocket Fuel sauce. Great fresh fish too”
“Went here for the first time recently and we’ll definitely be back soon. My wife got the cheeseburger and I had the Beyond Meat burger and both were excellent along with the curly fries. The bagels looked great so will try these next time. Great outlook over the harbour and I love the bean bags for sitting in the sun or the shade of the trees.”
“Ok so I'm a Indian cuisine nut, I've been to so many restaurants I've lost count, but.... After dining here for my birthday last week I'm completely in love with this place. A table of 6 and everyone was so happy and amazed at there food it was crazy... It was beautiful... The service was awesome and it was all at the table in moments. Honestly cannot say enough about how amazing the food is and how well we were looked after. BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT IN NZ HANDS DOWN..”

The food is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented—truly a treat for the senses. From the first bite to the last, every dish is full of love and care. Whether it’s a casual meal or a special night out, this place never disappoints. It always leaves my belly happy and a smile on my face. Highly recommend to anyone who loves amazing food and a cozy, friendly vibe!”

“Our favourite spot as a young family of six! Even better that we can bring our beloved pooch. The food is delicious, the outdoor area is perfect, and with four boys we always appreciate being able to sit outside. Great staff and a lovely, generous owner. We’ll definitely be back for many more visits!”
“Handy little sushi shop within a larger mall complex. I picked up an end of day assortment for $5. Still fresh and tasty, loved the purple rice. It’s a bit of a lucky dip of fillings. Will be back for more :)”
“This was my first time dining at Loretta and dining at a restetaunt in general, as I get incredibly nervous eating out due to my allergies, but it was a fantastic experience!!! The staff were so lovely and accommodating towards my allergies – Ruby and Anna were incredible – tripple checking everything to make sure it's safe. Overall, amazing service from the kitchen for accommodating my allergies amongst all the other tables. The food was also fabulous, would highly recommend! Thank you for such a lovely experience ”
“Stumbled upon this place for lunch today - it’s located at one end of the Willis Lane development. It’s comfortable enough although not the cosiest spot atmosphere-wise BUT the service was lovely, speedy, and the food was delicious. I ordered this pesto pasta (sorry, can’t remember the exact name) and it was not only beautiful but was only $13 as part of the lunch time pasta special. Will be back for sure, really enjoyable and amazing value.”
“Loved it I’ll def come back soon”
“Lovely little place for some lovely food. A little undiscovered secret in Wellington. Friendly couple run the place, good service, clean and a great view of the stream if you sit down the back. Free parking out the front.”
“We came for the cheap prices but would return for the food and coffee! Wasn't expecting much but our Eggs Benedict's were very decent homely fare and the coffee was excellent! It's signage is hidden behind scaffolding at the moment so be sure to look for it even if you can't see the sign! They deserve the business :)”
“Love coming here when I work in Wellington! Friendly staff and great service! Also a nice atmosphere and space, really peaceful if you want to get off the busy streets in the city. Coffee is lovely too!”
“Moved to Ngaio a few months ago and have been in here a few times - HOW ABSOLUTELY LOVELY ARE THEY?! ALL OF THEM!!! A genuine, effortlessly friendly and welcoming vibe and I see them treat ALL their customers this way. They’ve taken the time to build relationships with their customers where they can have conversations about what they’ve been up to - it’s awesome! I believe interactions like this are the true definition of what community is and it’s such a rarity these days so we must call it out! celebrate it! Just letting you know, I really appreciate it!!!”
“We moved from Paekakariki in 2008. Called in to the store today and great to see the shop and the family still there with great service and a super wide range of stock.”
“Good collection of liquors, spirits and wines, centrally located.”
“Been coming here for over 10 years. It's a small, family-run cafe that serves fresh, delicious, home-made food. It has a unique vibe all of its own that's homely and unassuming, all in a good, chilled out way. It's by far the best choice of the cafes over this side of Lyall Bay, balancing value and taste perfectly.”
“Coffee to die for and beautiful authentic seafood chowder deliciously thick and packed with real seafood. Big thanks to Nish and Liam.”
“Hot chocolate with an amazing slice of chocolate oat banana bread, followed by a toasted sandwich of my choice. Lovely experience. Needed this chilled out moment to self away from the hustle and got exactly that. Lovely service. Thanks heaps for amazing experience. Never been here before this, totally recommend!”
“Great place to buy Filipino products. Lovely staff too very kind and polite. God Bless your Store always!”

Their bakery items are divine, each bite of their flaky, buttery pastries transported us to a state of bliss. We particularly loved their signature sourdough bread—crusty on the outside, soft and airy on the inside, it's a testament to the skill and passion behind their baking. The cafe menu is equally impressive, featuring a wonderful array of dishes that are both innovative and comforting. We tried their seasonal brunch special, and it was exquisite, perfectly cooked, and presented with a level of care and creativity that is truly commendable.
