This place has everything, bubble tea, chicken & chips, milkshakes, even saw a dubai chocolate icecream when I was there?? (Also with the bubble tea, some places add way too much ice, this place is not one of them! The ice is enough to keep the drink cool but not enough to dilute it)
Not currently doing gluten free chicken, but they can do GF chips which are great!
Improvements needed. This dairy used to sell most items you'd need week to week, now days it seems they care more about selling chicken and chips. Tonight i went to buy a standard sized whittakers chocolate slab only to find they stocked the larger ones only. Why is that? I got told we don't sell those here. Took my business elsewhere. If your looking for chicken and chips its a good place to go, if you want most everyday items try another dairy.
I've ordered via doordash I stay in Petone. I didn't realize this shop was in Wainui!! The chicken and chips are much better in flavor compared to KFC. And I know that's a big statement for a lot of KFC lovers out there. But, I recommend you come to this shop and buy chicken and chips, it's just to good!
The chicken and chips and potatoe and gravy is worth the travel and delivery. I'd rather have this than kfc. So yummy, fresh even when delivered to the hutt. Best chicken chips I've had in a long time. Hands down
BEST GLUTEN FREE CHICKEN & CHIPS! So hard finding a great GF place for my children and I but Konini does the best GF chicken and chips, that it's become regular weekend treat. Everything is cooked in small batches so it's always really fresh, you can choose your own flavoured salts (not sure about the others, but the chicken salt is also GF) and nothing is ever too much trouble. Just beware though - you wait a little while longer for the GF chicken & chips as it's crumbed fresh and then cooked in a separate fryer, but you can phone ahead and place an order.
We heard from hubby's mates about this place and how they have the best chicken & chips. Better than kfc & Joe's Cook. So tonight we tried it for the first time. We brought the Monster Munch it had 8 thigh pieces and 8 drums sticks with jumbo box of chips and 2 large potatoes and gravy. Well I have to say the rumors were definitely true. The chicken were freshly cooked to perfection and juicy. The potatoes and gravy were a hit with my kids and the chip's were fresh and crispy especially when you dunk it in the the potatoes and gravy. They also had these different salts there for you to pick from to use on your chips. Would definitely be going back that's for sure.
