I'd been to two other mechanics previously for a service/investigation and they'd do the service, start investigating the issue I'd flagged and then just go, meh, looks like a sensor issue. Pit Stop were the first people to actually look past the surface and try to find the fault. They found it and repaired it in the space of a day for a reasonable price. Yeah my car is old enough to drink in the USA but that doesn't mean its issues are just age-related. Cheers pit stop! You'll be my go-to from now on!”

“My niece recommended I see these folks. My car developed an intermittent fault where the electrics just crapped out.. I did some simple stuff and was able to get car started etc.. Took car in first thing in the morning and explained situation and symptoms.. We developed a plan for a cost effective diagnostic. After making sure the car was fully 'HOT' returned where the team went to work and poked and prodded.. They could not reproduce the fault but did check more than I could do myself.. Am I pleased? INDEED I AM!! CAnnot ask for more than has been done.. Car may still crap out, however they are happy to help whilst I'm still in Upper Hutt.. Five Stars, Customer focused and provide as much info as they can about what they have found/done etc..”
