I went there the other day and there was only 2 cars in front of me so I thought it was going to be a quick process..... How wrong I was. I waited over an hour whilst the guys that check the car walk around doing their job SO slowly. They almost look like they're in a daze.... I'm not going back there, that's for sure.
The lady at front desk is just really wonderful to talk to. Staff are helpful. Phone appointments are a breeze. Probably the most customer friendly place to come to for Vehicle compliance
Nigel and Helen were an absolute pleasure to deal with on all levels. They made what I imagined to be a complex and lengthy process a breeze. The process was explained to me fully it was an easy drop of for my motorcycle, the checks were done and my old but rebuilt Classic cruiser was re born and fully road legal and worthy. Thank you Lower Hutt VINZ.
Worst service I've ever incurred from the receptionist for a long time. Told to not ask any questions because she was sooo busy with no other cutomer in sight. After half an hour of waiting I was able to ask when was the latest I could pick up the car. It took four questions from me just to find out that the latest pick up time was 3:30pm. Then only to be told by the inspector that the forms could have been completed and the car ready for pick up earlier if I had left a copy of my drivers licence. A FACT that miss helpful could not have told me. Only go there if it is a last resort.

Great Service - above and beyond. After having terrible customer service from a near by vehicle service provider, Jamie from VINZ Lower Hutt helped to assist me, even though I had not gone to VINZ/him originally. Jamie responded to my emails straight away, answering and guiding me with my enquiries. Jamie helped reduce what could have been a more stressful situation. I highly recommend this company/outlet and will certainly be using them in the future for my vehicle services. Thank you for all your support!
