   Wayne recently sourced new brake parts for our Audi he did a fantastic job installing them and also completed a thorough service replacing cabin filters which had previously never been changed :) highly recommend

   As a tourist I expect to ripped off for maintenance work but this is just ridiculous. Don’t normally post or review things like this, I would speak to local people to gauge if it’s right or not. I spoke to multiple local companies and mechanics and they all said the same. I got charged $1,890 for a service and 2 discs and pads which is way over what it should be. I expect to pay a bit more for last minute work but this is insane. Even questioned it after saying this is too much. Did nothing about it. After this the main issue I went in for didn’t even get fixed. Had to do the work myself in the end from help from napa and Hutt city. Wouldn’t recommend going here. Said to drop the van off at 7am to be finished at lunchtime. Didn’t leave till 630pm and got charged for the guys over time. When all they did is a basic service.

   Wilson's diagnosed my VW Golf had a faulty turbo actuator. The part was replaced. After the work was completed the mechanic told me he had bad news, I'd have to replace the whole turbo to the tune of $5000 I'd already spent $1500 replacing the actuator. I went and got a second opinion, it was found that there was nothing wrong with the turbo, Wilson's hadn't calibrated the turbo actuator correctly when they installed it and all the car needed was a computer update which cost $400. Would not recommend them.

   It's a real shame that I'm writing this, because they've been awesome in the past, but they didn't get my approval before going ahead with the service, and it cost me way more than I was originally told! I was working and didn't answer my phone for 2 hours in the morning, but they went ahead without getting my yes, even though I'd asked them to get my approval before they started the work. It was quite a shock, and while they did their best to bring the price down a bit I was still really concerned that they performed a $930 service and WOF without my permission when I'd been told a max of $560 estimate over the phone. I would have loved the opportunity to get a second opinion at least before approving nearly a thousand dollars! Sadly won't be going back, even though they're great in every other sense.

   first time using hyper drive online purchasing and booking, picked these guys out of a list provided at checkout to fit the tyres and was happy with the customer service and prompteness of service. only thing i would have liked to see was the wheels cleaned and some tyre shine applied as my usual workshop automatically does, but I am aware this is classed as an extra service at some places and others just do it out of courtesy. will definitely use in the future if I am purchasing from hyper drive. thanks guys.

   Went to ask about a perspective car I was about to buy since it had been serviced there in the past. The receptionist and owner were very nice but couldn't tell me it's service history. Privacy act, but the people at Wilson's Auto services were as nice as they could have been. Well done for good service.
