Direct advice on servicing issues including alternative timeline for fixing. Hutt Auto also has reputable reference from spare part dealing in and around the Hutt Valley.

I found a very good bunch of people work here who are skillful, talented, knowledgeable and kind. They did an excellent job on my Outlander as they have identified some unusual strong noise which some other mechanics couldn't and they fixed that.
When my car broke down in my trip to Wellington, they understood my situation and gave more priority to fix my car so that I will be back on the road as soon as possible. They are really talented. After a quick look they could identify the problem, and even gave me an idea of what is going to be done, and how much it will cost me. They came up with the most practical solution for that situation and advised me on the further steps I should take when I'm back home. Instead of coming up with a huge bill at the end, they will try to estimate the cost up-front. And the price is very reasonable. Thank you very much for sorting me out in a difficult situation. I highly recommend this place and their talented mechanics.
I would give them -5 stars if I could. They told me it would take a week to fix my car but ended up taking over 3 weeks. I saw my car was just sitting outside for most of the first week then when confronted they would make up excuses. There are also scratches on my car and it all ended up cost almost twice as much as they said it would be. When I asked them for receipts for the true cost of repairs they got very aggressive and rude. They are out right scammers and I would not recommend them to anyone.
When I booked my car in for a wheel alignment and rotation, I asked for a quote and was confirmed on email that it would be $100 plus GST. When my daughter dropped the car for the work and picked it up, she was charged $$161! When I found out, I emailed them and it was straight silence and no response.
Dropped the car for an evaluation pre purchase report. All done remotely. Very happy with Jay's service. Excellent reporting and highly recommended work, thanks Jay
I needed my cambelt replaced and rang around to get some quotes in Lower Hutt. These guys were by far the cheapest so much so that I got them to regas my air conditioning and that was still cheaper than the next best quote I received. The work was first class and completed before the agreed time. The owner was polite and quick with his written quote unlike most of the other garages that dragged their heels or simply didn't bother to do one. Obviously, I highly recommend these guys to anyone wanting great service at a realistic price. BTW I've been meaning to place this review for ages. Sorry to the team at Hutt City Auto for not doing it sooner. And thank you for an excellent job.
