    Will never go here for a service again. Make sure you take pictures of your vehicle before it goes in. For over a year my bonnet stand has been broken and I have NEVER lost it. Took my car for a service here and now it's missing. They refuse to own up to what they've done, claiming they never took it out, yet it has magically vanished. Asked to view the cameras, to provide more answers and funny enough their cameras don't work. They initially offered to rectify the situation and order a new bonnet stand free of charge and now today they're trying to charge me for it and say they never offered the part for free, only the labour. Thought it was an awesome place and good people otherwise, just failing to take ownership for their mistake.

    Friendly and helpful team. The service was undertaken promptly. Efficient and straightforward. Nervous about car checks, due to past experiences elsewhere, but the team is genuine and helped decrease anxiety. Thank you.

    we booked an appointment at AA for our car service. In the meantime there was a problem with our vehicle, probably from the battery. We informed to AA before coming. They did all the job, and said the battery was good, they said they « think » it is the alternator. They recommended us to go to an auto electrician. As it was 5 pm when we collected the car, everything was closed. So we went home. 5-10 minutes drive after collecting, on the motorway the van and the engine suddenly stopped. We were right on the middle of the motorway during rush hour, this is EXTREMELY dangerous. We were towed by AA road service. The guy who towed said it is NOT normal that the garage let us taking back our car knowing that it would be dangerous. This is why we are rating 1 star as we are unhappy of your service.

    Wouldn't reccomend wasting your time. Put in an online request for an appointment, got no reply. Tried to call, it rang out to an unprofessional voicemail. Went in, receptionist was having a chat to a co worker. Could see me awkwardly waiting to come in and just looked at me, didn't wave me in, or stop talking to the other worker to help me. Eventually I walked in and explained I had made an online enquiry, and tried to call, with no response. Receptionist didnt seem fazed at all, and was unable to help me, or even give an explanation as to why I was never contacted or able to contact them. Went to VTNZ instead.

    Booked my car in for 9:00am for a WOF on a Saturday and saw that they didn't start the WOF on it until 9:30 (waste of half an hour of my time). Finally at 10:00 after 1 hour of waiting they finished the WOF. Went to pay at the counter and their eftpos machine wouldn't read my card. I told them multiple times it was a problem with there machine and not my card (brand new card used the day before no issues) they would not listen to me and kept telling me it was my card. I suggested that alternatively I pay online but apparently I was unable to do this as it was not a 'standard procedure' of theirs. Then they told me they would not release my car until I payed the $72 because it is a 'standard procedure' of theirs. Next they told me I was unable to use my car to drive to an ATM before suggesting that I walk from where they are based in Alicetown to the Queensgate mall to withdraw cash from an ATM. This suggestion really annoyed me as they wanted me to walk for 1 hour to withdraw cash (in the rain) as a result of a problem with their machine. Then a guy from out the back offered to give me a ride to an ATM in the AA company car which had oil stains all over the seats. Arrived at the ATM in Petone withdrew the cash with the card I used previously at the AA centre, proving it was a problem with their machine not my card. Then arrived back at the AA and got told by receptionist that "its not my day today". This is by far the worst customer service experience that I have ever had, would leave 0 stars if I could. TLDR; Blindly follow their standard procedures screwing the customer when things go wrong on their end. Never again, complete and absolute joke of a company. Also another thing to keep in mind is that this is a business and they will go over the top to try and find even the tinniest things wrong with the car so they can generate business for themselves and scorch you with high repair costs in the process.

    I would like to thank this branch for fixing my sister's transmission. To the manager Mel, thank you very much for providing excellent service and honest work. The car is running smoothly since and you were right all the small random noises were gone after a week! You guys did a great job and I would highly recommend this workshop for anyone that is looking for honest, quality service. Such an awesome and well-run workshop, even the staff get along really well with each other. Thanks team AA!
