   I went here for a WOF and before the car was ready they called me and listed things that were wrong with my car and asked if I wanted to them to start the work I said no and collected the car and took it to my dad who confirmed most of the things that were wrong were actually okay and the ones that weren't we fixed and got the warrant overall but I just feel that maybe if I wasn't a girl the encounter would have been different.

   C Moore Motors have been my mechanic of choice for 24 years and covers two premises Cuba St and Gear St. I have felt Cary to be respectful, straight up, honest and extremely professional and reliable. My car is always ready for pickup on time. Documentation is efficient. Today he noticed my CD and radio weren't working and he solved the problem (a fuse) . I feel so comfortable with Cary I dread to think of the business changing hands. I have recommended this service to several of my friends and thoroughly recommend him to you, the reader of this.

   I was a first time visitor to this workshop today and used the 'Request a Quote' function on Google Maps to ask about a radiator replacement. Once contact was established online, Cary (the owner) was happy for me to leave the car with him in the late morning while he got on the phone, sourced a second hand radiator (which was was my preference for our old 1995 second vehicle), and then I was able to pick the car up before the close of business on the same day. Definitely more than happy to back up all of the superb feedback posted here as it definitely squares with my own experience. Cary struck me as honest, down-to-earth, professional and the cherry on top was the super reasonable bill at the end of a job well done. Because they are not a huge operation with lots of mechanics, the service you get also feels more personalised. It's a relief to know that there are still workshops like C Moore Motors who'll go out of their way to do the very best they can for the customer in terms of service, workmanship and price. Can't ask for more than that. Thanks again Cary!

   I've been going to Cary's garage for several decades now with a series of old cars or foreign ones. He's dealt professionally and competently with every model, difficult problem or routine service /WOF. He stays up to date and can look after electrics and hybrids too. He charges very reasonable rates and can locate second hand parts for your vehicle if it's the best option. Only a small garage but excellent service. I can highly recommend him.
