   Absoutley adore this Cafe nd our staff here always been a constant friendly face even on the busy peak they are always 10/10 service also family runned business one i hold very dear to my heart. Ive been coming here almost every week for the last 6 years and they are always come through with wholesome nd beautiful food (you must try there pastries) Pistashio custard cream horn thjngs evevry thursday nd ecliars so goooood and at such afforadable prices for evevryone a good local cafe i will always come to either for work or pleasure they really do look after there customers and people.    Excellent quality, service, price and venue! Perfect for a weekday lunch and always a go-to for my grandmother and I, who has been coming here for 30 years. Chicken and corn soup is to die for with their bread, best Tuesday hot meal (and you get a bit more too when you eat in!) their large and small sausages are great, and their steak and cheese pie is my favourite. Their pork rolls are fantastic, as are their pate rolls, and their sweet treats always keep me going through the afternoon. Even though I’m always trying the new options around the Lambton and Terrace districts, I keep coming back here for more. Overall, probably my favourite cafe / bakery / patisserie in Wellington.

   We went to concord cafe due to good reviews but customer service is horrible . The big guy at the counter was extremely rude to us , for no reason. We are tourists and we don’t know that it was self - service to take the pies ourselves . Even being asked nicely , his tone and his attitude is just unacceptable. We went in with good mood to have good breakfast but we lost our appetite and left the cafe quite furious. But the old uncle at cashier counter was extremely nice . Food is alright but we will never go there again and definitely won’t recommend to anyone :)

   I absolutely love this wee gem of a place. The staff alone make you want to come back again and again. Amazing cheap eats at the end of Lambton Quay perfect for a lunch during work with gorgeous sandwiches, hot counter and my favourite the soup of the day! Seats to sit in or takeaway. All served with a smile :)

   This is a nice little Cafe and the food is fairly well priced too. Nice pies & only $3.50 each. Edited 27 April Got a steak & mushroom pie today, nice pie but the steak was rather tough and chewy so I've dropped it down a Star. Feb 2023 Like everywhere else the prices have gone up... when will it stop? Soon we won't be able to afford anything. But still nice mince pies... $4.00. now.
