This place is highly rated for good reason. Perfect for drinks and a savoury or sweet afternoon tea. We couldn't fault anything we ordered. Fantastic coffee. Their Cascara Cola is a must try!

A very nice cafe with interesting options. The spring breeze is a very interesting one to try. Cinnamon roll is one of the best I have ever had. Cheese 'sconffine' is also worth trying. We are keen to go back and try their other signature drinks. Looking forward to it. :)

Cool place for a coffee, snack and chit chat. Centrally located in the city and open on the weekends too. Dog friendly as well which is a plus if you’re taking your fur friend for a stopover. Their coffee art is amazing and have won many awards during their competitive years. Excellent service as well and to top it off, their cheese scones are a must try!

Josh and Ollie of the YouTube Channel JOLLY went here years ago at the recommendation of another coffee shop. They came out rating this as the β€œQueen Elizabeth” of flat whites (as per Ollie. So the last stop of our Wellington journey ends with Peoples and boy did they deliver. At the recommendation of one of the baristas I had the iced flat white brewed overnight and Quentin had the iced coffee. The iced flat white is served in a small glass bottle that you pour in your glass with a square ice in it. It will be the bar I will measure all other iced coffee I will be drinking for hereon. It is something quite unforgettable.

It’s our Sunday cafe. The baristas, Aoi and Erik, offer perfect trim lattes and oat cappuccinos which make our Sunday morning very pleasant. The cafe is quite spacious and relaxing atmosphere. We enjoy picking and trying their seasonal roasts for home.

I ordered food that had an ingredient I’m allergic too. When I tasted it, I let the staff know straight away. Not only did they apologize but kindly replaced it and then also refunded me! They were genuinely concerned for my wellbeing. Great manaakitanga!

Wellington's best reading and thinkin' spot. Somehow always has the right amount of people, pleasantly bustling but you rarely struggle to find a seat. Nice coffee and simple food. Playlist is an excellent mix of jazz, easy listening, and house. Only criticism is the lack of WIFI, though I suspect that's intentional.

Absolutely lovely atmosphere inside, had a relaxing soundtrack that kind of sounded like something you’d expect in a day spa. The staff were super kind and we only had to wait a couple minutes for our coffees. It would’ve been amazing if they had coconut milk, but they do offer soy, oat, full and trim. Overall 100% worth it and a must visit.
