“We heard from hubby's mates about this place and how they have the best chicken & chips. Better than kfc & Joe's Cook. So tonight we tried it for the first time. We brought the Monster Munch it had 8 thigh pieces and 8 drums sticks with jumbo box of chips and 2 large potatoes and gravy. Well I have to say the rumors were definitely true. The chicken were freshly cooked to perfection and juicy. The potatoes and gravy were a hit with my kids and the chip's were fresh and crispy especially when you dunk it in the the potatoes and gravy. They also had these different salts there for you to pick from to use on your chips. Would definitely be going back that's for sure.”

A genuine, effortlessly friendly and welcoming vibe and I see them treat ALL their customers this way. They’ve taken the time to build relationships with their customers where they can have conversations about what they’ve been up to - it’s awesome! “There are 2 dairys (convienamce store) that sell food items in Hataitai. Milk, eggs tea, bags ... all your common things. This is the bigger of the 2. Also they sell beer and wine. A Lotto counter is there as well. Staff are friendly. Some things are expensive like meat, but if you are in need of something quick and don't want to go to Kilbirnie supermarkets this is convenient.”

“We shopped around baby shops all over Wellington and the Hutt Valley looking at buying a big ticket item, a mountain buggy pram. Baby City was the best customer service by far and were so helpful answering all our questions. The staff are well trained with their product knowledge and it really made us feel better about spending hundreds on a buggy. I wish I knew the name of the assistant who helped us, she was so helpful and I felt compelled to write a review, which Is something I don’t normally do. Thank you baby city for all your help.”
