Worth a visit. In winter, the water flow was very robust.

Waterfall with nice view. Well built platforms and amble parking spaces. A short walking trail too

We parked at Trout Pool Falls and walked the track back to Okere Falls. It was raining of and on and the track was wet but ok. Good thing about the whole experience is that it is interesting, plenty to see, short enough to be a worthwhile stop and a real shame that most just drive past it. Give yourself a rest from dodging pot holes. Park the car and you'll quickly lose yourself in the peace of nature. Tui's, being bossy in the bush and the sound of water urgently rushing down a multitude of rapids and over large drops. The occasional helps of rafters enjoying the drops over the various waterfalls. It's a wonderful walk and a real must do.

Easy walking track, ridge track has a little bit tough, its fine dirt and feels like sand under the shoes but it's not long at all, the falls track is an easy walk, the trees are gorgeous and the sound of the river is magical.

Very nice platforms to view waterfall, plenty of parking and toilets are on site as well. If you're lucky you may see rafters riding the falls
