Wonderful stay at Sapphire Springs Holiday Park. We stayed in the bungalow, which was perfect for our large group. A fantastic park that helped us create many happy memories. Highly recommend.

Such a pretty place dotted with trees and their shade. Lovely stream and swimming hole. Didn't make it up to the pools, it was too warm already for me. Very friendly staff. Looks like a good team. I ended up here for just over a week and will keep in my diary of nice places to stop.

We booked a powered campsite for a night on a whim at the end of October and had an incredible time at Sapphire Springs. We ended up getting the entire pool area to ourselves for an hour before it closed since it was midweek. Excellent clean facilities, and the woman working at the desk very kindly gave us tons of recommendations for our travels. Would love to camp here again!

Great friendly service The rooms are older but cared for and kept clean and comfortable The location is perfect for families Theres a variety of thermal pools for the kids and adults Bbqs, a playground and bush walks for all short and long. As mentioned about the rooms being older, the facility has been around for quite some time but is being maintained at great standards. Recommended for passing through stopovers as katikati is nice and close for the supermarket restaraunts bars and takeaways but also great for families of all ages

Lovely experience for our family. A bit dated but did not stop the fun and felt like an OG camping ground. All facilities were clean and tidy. Katikati just down the road to stock up where needed and lovely restaurants to eat at. BBQs at the pool, picnic areas around the accommodation and excellent cooking facilities inside the accommodation.

We had a fantastic stay at Sapphire Springs over the course of 3 nights as 2 adults and three kids. We stayed in the Bungalow, which is lovely. It is situated location close by to the mini golf, trampoline, and a short walk to the pools and nature walk. The room had everything we needed, although we only wish they could offer complimentary wifi even if it's exclusive to that room. Only for times when kids get up super early and we could not get any reception. The holiday park is situated amongst amazing natural scenery. The river that runs through the park is beautiful, and we thoroughly enjoyed throwing stones into the river and watching sticks flow down the small rapids. They offer a few walks. However, we only did the Puriri walk as it's recommended for younger kids. They really enjoyed seeing the Kauri and Puriri trees along with the Rimu further down the track. It was wonderful watching the kids being one with nature. The pools themselves are a tepid warm temperature and a good depth for kids to be able to enjoy themselves. The two hottubs were in demand due to the cold winds passing through. Only wish the changing facilities were a tad closer to save running in the cold. But it's all part of the adventure. Overall, I would highly recommend coming here. Also the managers are so friendly and provide a warm overall experience. We will hopefully be back one day.

First visit to the pools in over 20 years. Loved it as a kid and still love it here. Big pool slightly warmed. Then a smaller warm pool... And 2 spas that are nice and hot. Grounds are well kept . Big BBQ area. Highly recommended

We did not stay but did a day visit to the hot pools. They are really nice! Set in a beautiful forest setting, with plenty of picnic tables, a BBQ area, 3 separate pools(one with a slide) and two hot tubs. Everything was clean and tidy and the pools were so warm! The layout of the rest of the property looked really nice and we would definately come back to stay here one day. We looked online and pricing for accommodation is really reasonable.

Faultless. Owners were fabulous and polite, as were the cleaning staff. Facilities were above expectations, and park well kept. Pools were a bonus. Thanks for letting the family stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. Kids had a ball. Regards from Australia.

Hot springs were lower in temperature then we expected. About 30 degrees C. They are also a long walk from the caravan park. The camp is well looked after - be aware - 2 dollars for a shower. Very quite and most camp sites are beside the river.
