“It's a really lovely walk to see some rapids and waterfalls. We didn't see them, but people do white water rafting and kayaking on this river! Not sure if they go down the waterfall, but that'd be incredible to see. The walk wasn't epic, we did it with a baby strapped to us and it was doable.”

He kept the energy high, made sure we felt safe, and turned every moment into something exciting. We had so much fun that we’re already talking about when we can do it again. “Grade 5 whitewater rafting sounds scary enough for a non-confident swimmer, but Kaitiaki Adventures' guides know what they are doing. All gear were provided for. Sam, our guide, made sure all of us were safe and had a lot of fun. The guides took time to teach us how to be respectful of nature. The power of the water and the nature surrounding the river was humbling and breathtaking (give and take a few mouthfuls of water). There are photographers all along the river, taking shots of the different moments. A proud achivement to not just have survived a Grade 5 whitewater rafting, but to have done it with all smiles around and have an exciting adventure that we would continue to talk about. We had FUN!”
