“Super clean and spacious. I stayed in a studio & it had its own private patio out back. The thermal pool was great, the grounds are immaculate. Really friendly and accomadating hosts. Carpark is right in front of your room and the wait for uber to location is not super long (less than 10min when not peak). Would stay again.”

“These guys know how to get repeat business. They do everything right (in my book), and completely worthy of their high rating. Their service is impeccable. The location is handy, in the Central Parade block of shops just down from New World and Z petrol station. Easy drive in, most the time grabbing a park close by or out the front. They have a great menu covering all your kiwi fish n chip classics, burgers and Chinese selections we’ve come to expect in NZ. Their online ordering system is super quick and easy to use. Added bonus, a 10% discount coupon for online orders over $15 ✅ Even if you don’t order online, you won’t be waiting long. Did I mention they do coffee too? And free wifi (NZ establishments are mostly slow on that one). Our favourites for Friday night takeaways; Gurnard or Terakihi which comes in a light batter with a hint of lemon and herb salt. Always fresh. Good chunky chips, a cheeky hot dog and spring roll always go down a treat. Their Nasi Goreng is the best Ive had in NZ, and their wonton or dumpling noodle soup too. Its 5-stars all the way from me. I recommend Central coast takeaway to anybody who asks which is what spurred me to write a review. Credit where credit is due as Nan always said, and these guys deserve the credit… best takeaways in the Bay!”

“Had a party today at Rocktopia Tauranga and what a blast we had. Recommend party bookings for sure! Was so much fun! Our son turned 7 and his friends and our family just loved this place. An hour climbing around and ending with the slides was a highlight for them all. The party room hire for an hour was just what we needed for them to play, eat and celebrate with cake.. thanks team for a great day. It went extremely well!! the kids left chuffed and full of excitement, and the adults left feeling very proud of there adventurous, happy children.”

“We got 3 bridesmaid dresses from Evolution Clothing and the whole process was so smooth. The team was very lovely and patient and was very helpful. They also had a great selection of colours and styles! Perfect if you're unsure on what you want and if you want to do a bit of browsing. The dresses we picked out arrived very quickly, but unfortunately two of them fitted differently than the samples they had tried on. However, the team was awesome about the issue and re-ordered them as it was the result of a factory issue. The new dresses arrived very fast and the girls all looked amazing on the day! “I stayed here for 1,5 month and it has been a great experience! Loved the mount, loved the staff, hostel was clean and well maintained. A little pricy but worth the cost. Close to the beach and not too far from the bars. I really enjoyed my stay here and it will always have a place in my heart! The only feedback I have is that the bunk beds are wobbly and only the bottom bunk has curtains.”

“Reading the reviews, I was worried about the service here, but it wasn't nearly as bad as people have posted. Only real concern is that I didn't realize we had to be there by 1900 for check in. Accidently got there right on time. We had the penthouse and the views were spectacular, not to mention the fully equipped kitchen, wrap around deck with glass doors that open up all the way to provide an unobstructed view. Each room and a bathroom so no arguments about space. Private parking is very convenient. In room laundry was great.”
