   This place is nothing more then a money grab. 1 hour limit, that includes a delayed video safety briefing. Terrible place for your kids to enjoy. More people harnessed up than obstacles, so your kids have to line up everywhere. Why are adults even allowed to climb in the kids zone? Additionally, A kid got his leg wrapped with rope and another parent had to intervene to bring him down. So Don't expect staff assistance. Save yourself the hassle and the money. Was expecting a similar experience for my kids like they had at extreme edge. Terrible choice

   My 6 year old son caught a rope that should not have been left across a climb around his leg on his descent and was left dangling upside down. There were no staff on the floor despite it being busy. Parents climbed up to take his weight and untangle him. It took over three minutes. There were NO staff present. They were not aware of the incident until informed. The manager just kept reiterating that there were staff on the floor, despite the fact that I kept doing loops to ascertain that there were in fact no staff on the floor.

   Had a party today at Rocktopia Tauranga and what a blast we had. Recommend party bookings for sure! Was so much fun! Our son turned 7 and his friends and our family just loved this place. An hour climbing around and ending with the slides was a highlight for them all. The party room hire for an hour was just what we needed for them to play, eat and celebrate with cake.. thanks team for a great day. It went extremely well!! the kids left chuffed and full of excitement, and the adults left feeling very proud of there adventurous, happy children.

   I'm impressed because is my first time that I receive a call after a review in google. The man explained me the plan for improve routes in the gym. I'll stay in Tauranga for a couple of months. I'll share more information about changes in this place. That call means that Rocktopia is concern about customers, thanks a lot. After a couple of days climbing in boulder, today I tried a top roping and I have to say that routes, hold and equipment quality are the best and also the were making new routes on the "cave". 5 stars for Rocktopia.

   I drove a few classloads of students to experience rock-climbing. What a great way to build confidence, team support, strength, etc. Not only do they have many different walls with specific ratings but they have a whole second area, for more fun climbing. Many of the ropes are supported with counterweight devices so that people can climb solo.
