Excellent meal. My carbonara and my partner's gnocchi mare were delicious and authentically Italian. The prawns in the gnocchi were fresh and tender, the tomato sauce home-made. We shared a chocolate fondant, with both cream and ice-cream, which was melt-in-the-mouth brilliant. Highly recommended.
Fairly authentic Italian food and ambient, one of a very few in Tauranga who can call themselves an Italian restaurant rather than an Italian inspired. Lady who looked after our table was lovely and attentive from the beginning all the way until the end of the service. Not the cheapest but delivers portions also proportional to the price. Definitely coming back.
11/10!!! Carbonara, steak and pizza all delightful. Cannot believe how tender the steak was absolute melt with your mouth we tested and cut it with a butter knife easily.
Very authentic, fresh, large servings, and delicious food, complimented by very attentive (but subtle) and professional service. Family of 4 for my birthday (16/07). We all had different pastas, breads,olives, polenta and then desserts and everything was 10/10. Everytime is exceptional
Popped in here Friday night after we arrived from Auckland. We were lucky enough to be squeezed in as all tables were reserved. The food was outstanding. Probably the best meal I have ever had at a restaurant, the service we received was out of this world. we were immediately made to feel welcome. We decided to come back Saturday night for dessert, wine and lemocello as we couldn't fit it in after dinner on Friday. I'm already planning my next trip back so I can make my way through their amazing menu . Cant recommend this place enough
We came to this restaurant at least 8 years ago and had a very nice meal. We came back down for a visit and thought that we would try again. I have to say that the meal exceeded our expectations. My eye fillet was absolutely delicious and cooked just perfectly medium rare. My wife had a cabonara. We finished off with a creme brulee and a chocolate mud cake. The creme brulee was the best I have ever had, and best of all I had a pint of my favorite beer. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Awesome experience. I think I had the best steak of my life last Saturday night, and everyone else in our party was very satisfied too. Friendly staff, diverse menu of tasty choices, perfectly cooked and presented. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Amazing food with great atmosphere! Staff were really friendly and food was excellent! Best steak in Tauranga, it's even better than famous steak restaurants here. I already made another booking for my husband's birthday dinner in 3 weeks!
Fantastic authentic Italian restaurant, great food and wine options. Generous portions, the best and largest eye fillet I have ever eaten. If you are looking for a true Italian restaurant with all the options then you need to try Mamma Mia.
