“Shout out to the male staff member (sorry we didn’t get your name) on Sunday afternoon @ papamoa store. We needed a new tv remote after our doggies had destroyed the original. Thank you for guiding us to them & making sure we had the right one. Great customer service. Well done.”

“RM Build Tauranga was recommended to us for our home renovation project in late 2024. Having recently moved to Tauranga we needed a builder who would take on board our ideas and make them happen. Rich. and his RM team exceeded our expectations at all stages of the project. He efficiently arranged and managed the consenting process, the build and subbies through to final completion and sign off. We were consulted regularly about any details that needed our attention or approval. We have only praise for the quality of RM Build's workmanship which was completed on time and within budget. We have no hesitation in recommending RM Build and would use them again for any future projects of our own. R and H Black Papamoa”
“Absolutely adore this hidden gem and try to pop over from Whakatāne every few months. It's a treasure trove of secondhand books, spanking all genres. The owner has incredible knowledge and can help you find anything. Make sure you take an antihistamine (dusty for obvious reasons) and have a coffee before you arrive, as once you're here, you could easily spend hours perusing the shelves.”
“Delicious cheese scone and great iced mocha! Definitely satisfied my cravings and hunger during a long beach day.”
“Fish jungle curry for me and chili chicken salad for her ... all delicious. Tucked away but plenty of parking. Is very popular so get in early or call ahead to avoid disappointment. The coffee is great too! Treat yourself - you deserve it!!”
“Great morning tea had by all - spinach feta roll, marmite school, cruffin, great food, great coffees, super friendly and attentive staff.”
“First ever visit and I was not disappointed. The Sausage Roll was fresh, the pastry was crisp the filling was flavourful and filled the pastry. The Almond Croissant and the Panna Chocolate (even tho I didn't try them until I got back to Whakatane about 4hrs later) was absolutely devine. But what topped it all off was that the staff, as well as being friendly and helpful and just a breath of fresh air, actually brought everything out to the car, I have never had anyone do that for me. I am sure that locals know all this about Best anyways but they definitely deserve praise and I challenge all locals to nominate them for the 2024 Prospa Local Business Heroes because they deserve it. Keep up the amazing mahi that you girls are doing.”

“These guys are successful restaurant owners so their care and quality come through in their food and service. Unlike your average industrial sloppy pie shop, these guys have a range of healthy options, they mix it up with different daily dishes and they’ll happily customise an order to your liking if you don’t quite see what suits you. Legends!”
