I used to come here regularly but each time I would come in, the food I wanted was never in. I would come in at lunch time, midday. A food business should be stocked and ready for lunch customers. I went to Kneed and the exact same thing. Also, 4 girls on the counter at Rise and only 2 serving the long line. If one of them had prioritized serving me and the lady in front of me, I wouldn’t have waited in line for 10 minutes to learn that the last chicken roll just got sold and there were no more out the back. Stock enough for lunch, ensure the lines are cleared, customer should come first imo. Obviously I’m annoyed to drive from one shop to the other but this has been so consistent with both running out of food.

A tidy little gem that stands out with its elevated food presentation, décor, and atmosphere—definitely a step up (or two) from your usual bakery. We wished we could have enjoyed it a bit longer at their cosy seating area. We picked up a couple of cream-filled doughnuts, custard squares, and a custard and blueberry iced scroll. Event though it was after 2pm when we got our order (so nearer closing), the whānau couldn’t stop raving about the freshness and softness of everything. Plenty of "mmm's" and "yum's" were heard. The custard square was the unanimous favourite. Service was excellent, and the pricing was very reasonable, especially considering the quality. No complaints at all. Looking forward to trying more of the delicious foods next time we're in town.
Delicious cheese scone and great iced mocha! Definitely satisfied my cravings and hunger during a long beach day.
Wow. Pies are amazing and had one of their cronuts today and it was awesome. Highly recommend.

This place is just what I needed in my life! Staff are always friendly, food and coffee consistently delicious! Plenty of room to sit inside on a hot day. Love this place! Can’t recommend it enough!
