“They have the best vegetarian sushi with many different tasty options. You can choose from the wide variety in the cabinet (which they are happy to make fresh if run out) or buy from an even wider variety of delicious hot food made to order; bento boxes, donburi, tempura etc. Can sit in or takeaway. They always have miso soup to order too. Best service, very welcoming and lovely. Highly recommend! My favourite sushi shop.”
“Very tasty sushi whit lots of meat”
“Affordable prices compare to other sushi place. They always have a warm welcome for customers”
“The teriyaki chicken was delicious - perfectly cooked chicken and flavorful teriyaki. Service was quick. My husband enjoyed his Katsu curry as well. Good place to eat for a quick and filling meal.”
“I'm really happy that I found this place! The stir fried udon was the best udon I've tried in my life❤️ I also highly recommend this place as they have the most fresh ingredients for their delicious sushi and sashimi!”
“Great deals for sushi everyday. Taste and portion size was really good. Tried salmon and California roll one.”
“I have been going to Yoshi Sushi for years. The sushi is the best sushi in East Auckland. I also love that everything is made fresh on the spot so I am still able to eat this sushi while pregnant, The owners are so accommodating around this as well. I absolutely recommend!”
“Enjoyed a breakfast here on a Monday morning in an outdoor seating overlooking Oneroa township. Monday is a relatively quiet day on Waiheke without the weekend xrowds. The menu for breakfast and brunch was reasonably comprehensive and well priced. The restaurant was busy and frequented by locals which was a good sign”
“For a sushi chain, this place is excellent. Sushi chef is ready to make to order, he and the team provide a friendly service too. Lovely seating area. Plenty of parking. Lots of options to fit your tastebuds. Make sure to pickup chopsticks though, they don't assume you want them so you need to pack them in yourself.”
“Handy little sushi shop within a larger mall complex. I picked up an end of day assortment for $5. Still fresh and tasty, loved the purple rice. It’s a bit of a lucky dip of fillings. Will be back for more :)”
“Loved it I’ll def come back soon”
“Absolutely love this place! Hands down the most authentic Japanese feed you’ll find in Wellington. I’m down in Welly every couple of months and Miyabi’s always a must-do for me, never disappoints. The food’s top-notch, and the service is just as good. Olivia’s been awesome every time — absolute legend. Cheers team, keep it up!”
“. (05/2018) This one is among top 3 in my list of Sushi restaurants in Wellington. Conveniently located over busy Lambton Quay and can be easily missed if not carefully looked out for. Easily accessible. Well managed, organised and nicely maintained. Sushi is on display for the customers to pick around from the standing area with detailed info provided for people with specific dietary requirements. Spacious but limited seating. Excellent ambiance and cosy atmosphere. Self-service. Helpful staff. Plentiful food options. Have not noticed these many delicious Sushi options to choose from for vegans and vegetarians at any other Sushi restaurant. Yum preparations. Good presentation. Offers takeaways. Good place for quick bite. Normally busy during peak hours. Reservation cannot be made in advance. PayWave facility is available at this location. Could not notice wheelchair accessible seating or high chair in plain view at this location. Outdoor seating is not available. There is no dedicated parking area available for this restaurant although street parking can be found around the entrance. Entrance is wheelchair accessible. Liked the experience.”
“Good selection, delicious sushi. Great for lunch takeaway so close to the Terrace.”
“The sushi was excellent! The salmon felt like it was melting in my mouth, it was so buttery and smooth. Also I definitely recommend trying the cream puffs, they are really light and it feels like they pop in your mouth. The staff are really friendly! The seating area is a bit tight tho.”
“So yummy at an eco price. Good to test.”
“Chicken Katsu, everything is so delicious, tidy , friendly environment and just overall love the quality of the food. Top tier ❤️”
“Super friendly! Affordable! Quality! So glad you guys are here in petone and big thanks to the lad for helping me arrange alternative payment! You guy's make my day”
“Best food and it's always fresh”
“Amazing food, amazing atmosphere and the staff were incredible! We had a big group and the service they provided was spectacular. Thank you so much !”
“My first visit for Teppanyaki. We tried the all you can eat option. Though this menu is more simple foods in an all you can eat style, it didn't disappoint. The entree board with sushi and chicken was particularly enjoyable given the fresh and crisp contrasts. They have a Japanese version of an espresso martini with Baileys which was very good.”
“Asked for combo to be made up of sushi and it was no problem. The service was friendly and fast. The sushi was excellent! And its a modern, very clean nice place to be inside. I will definitely be back.”
“Tutto Bene delivers a fantastic dining experience with authentic Italian flavors and warm, attentive service. The pasta is freshly made, the sauces are rich and flavorful, and the wood-fired pizzas are a standout—crispy, light, and generously topped. The atmosphere is cozy yet vibrant, making it perfect for both a casual night out and a special occasion. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, adding to the overall excellent experience. Highly recommend the tiramisu to end on a high note. A must-visit spot for Italian food lovers!”
“Chopsticks Restaurant is amazing, especially their lou sang and peng cai! The lou sang is super fresh, packed with flavour, and perfect for sharing—it’s seriously one of the best I’ve had. The peng cai is just as great, full of premium ingredients and so rich in taste. The food is top-notch, the vibe is chilled, and the service is on point. Highly recommend!”
On the plate at St Pierre's Sushi, the idea is Japanese‑leaning and well judged. Front‑of‑house runs with calm, helpful energy. Bento and small plates make for an easy spread. Serve sizes show solid value.
“Best home made pasta (carbonara) I have ever had. Great service, with nice soft Italian music playing. Nice service and atmosphere. We will definitely be back.”
“The sushi is always good and I love the seafood pockets. The staff are lovely also.”
“Favourite sushi and Donburi place!”
“Katsu is my fave and the spam musubi too been coming here for years, never disappoints. Best in Aotearoa I reckon.”
“the sushi is delicious, and generously made, the coffee is consistently good, and the prices are fair. the chef truly knows how to bring out the best in every ingredient. It’s definitely a place I’d return to.”
