We’ve been coming to this sushi shop for several weeks in a row. It’s tasty and good value, and the chicken comes in whole pieces, not shredded chicken.
Every week or so we drive across the bridge for lunch at Bian Takapuna - it's SO worth it. The food is a million miles above other sushi places like boring old St Pierre's etc. We always try to sit outside because the view over the green is just lovely with a glimpse of the harbour a bonus. Excellent manager who has been there for years
We tried Bian because of the good reviews. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of our expectations. The servings were small in relation to the prices. The redeeming part was the items we ordered were really tasy- seasoned well & perfectly cooked. The servers were also quite standoffish. A shame, but we might still try their sushi next time despite this experience.
My daughter and I grabbed some sushi here for lunch and it was so fresh and tasty. We opted to eat in and so used the glass plate instead and ended up getting some more sushi. Service was great, prices are reasonable, and the place is clean and tidy. Would definitely go again. We were given some Hershey's kisses for after our meal and that has made for a very memorable visit for miss 8.
I always come here when I was working in Takapuna, the best food and staff are always very accommodating and friendly. Unfortunately I am no longer working in Takapuna so I will miss this place a lot!
